DLA wait times part 17.. (2023)

Following on from part 16…..

Scan date 14/7 2 text messages 19/9 ,9/10 still a few weeks wait. Hampshire.

Scan date is 04/08. I've received 1 text so far on 09/10 x

@LGR004 haha well hopefully we are with the the same 'nice' DM! It's so hard isn't it I would really like to just know at this point! I did so well for 15 weeks! Not seeing there being much to the 5 week since last text thing, but you never know! It's only just before 2pm and I have seen a few people get a decision a day or so after going to a DM. Let's keep everything crossed, at least we are at the end of this very long journey! Hopefully we receive texts notifying us of awards as we have previously received them xx

Think only 1 award today for @RMNofTikTok unless I’ve missed some. It seems to have been very quiet the last few days Over the weekend well quieter than usual so hopefully that means a lot of DMs are now back at work and we will see lots of awards this week- wishful thinking hey 😂 x

@MumofLou let’s hope so😂 & I too myself did so well till about week 14 when I called then I was seeing these pages and since then I’ve been non stop stressing … I think I’ll call Wednesday because you never know might get an answer then if I don’t I’d probably leave it till Monday Next week ! I mean poor @Hannahlou94xx still waiting on her decision from mid June .. absolute craziness , I just hope hers along with ours and others gets done promptly because it’s been such a wait .. Week 18 now when you have a letter that says 15 weeks, gov and the internet says 12 weeks it’s just like getting left in the dark you don’t know where you stand ! Praying we all get the Positive decisions for our LOs! ❤️

Week 18 here too @LGR004 The post just come and my heart sank when I seen the brown government envelope for me! Hubby was like post for you we’ve been declined! Opened and it was a warm home discount letter 😅 my heart was in my mouth literally x

@Mummyrach13 that made me laugh more than it should have 😂😂! Ahh positive thoughts sweet, hopefully we find out this week! I’m calling Wednesday to see if a decision has been made and then if not yet I might call again Friday 😂😂 curiosity gets the better of me ! Xz

@LGR004 Im laughing about it now but at the time I could have cried 😂 I thought there would have been loads of updates today being a Monday but it’s very quiet!
I might call up weds as I have my first commitment meeting Thurs at the JC as we are always in light touch but my husband changed jobs last month so waiting on wages and the pay dropped in our assessment period. We’re be back to normal this month but I’m dreading going to this meeting to what there expectations are of me at the minute! Considering I have 1 of 3 of my children completely housebound and fully reliant on me for everything. X

hi everyone, been a silent watcher for quite a while, scan date 04/07, rang today snotty woman sais another 2-3 weeks which i dont believe as usually people seem to get decisions at around 18 week which will be next week, wish u all good luck!!! i know theres a couple with my scan date pls keep us posted what they say when u call, im hoping to call friday again to see whether its with DM xx

Was going to hold off calling until Thursday but couldn't 😂 so rang and just told its with case manager and to expect a decision by the end of the week, I did ask for a text if I was awarded but I know this doesn't always happen, this is going to be such a long week 😩😩

@Caitlyn59 yes hun, that’s what I pressed. It cut me off a few times saying lines were down but just kept re trying.

smae I was expecting to see a few awards but only one that I’ve noticed, unless there’s a lot on leave for half term?
it seems tues and weds have always had lots of news on previous weeks so hopefully lots coming through tomorrow x

@Muva306 can I be nosey and ask how long after reporting to them your changes, did it take to recieve that?
I'm 3 ish weeks now and heard nothing apart from that it's either the DM.

@PinkMoscatoLover yes, I knew about the 4 weeks.
UC are the worst as I've left 4 messages and only had 1 reply saying it's with the DM in 3ish weeks. That was nearly a week ago I got the reply. Just would be nice to know what's what as we've got a big appointment coming up that may require hotel stay to make life easier.

Did you send much evidence, my daughter hurts me alot and is extremely fussy with food, clothes , obsesses over things, sleeps my bed otherwise up until 3am. It's hard work but nobody except my close friends have seen it and wrote supportinf statemens for the claim....she masks at school. My daughter is 9...I'm almost certain it will be a decline xx
