well done everyone receiving awards. Called this morning, they’ve received my evidence but it takes 5-10 days to be scanned on. Still in a pile, should be going to decision maker this week.
I’m Yorkshire.

Sskanf · 30/10/2023 11:32

Scan dates 11th July. What's yours?

Leighs2gorgeousboys · 30/10/2023 11:36

Also it does state on award notice the date they are paying you from and till when.
So i rang on 10/5 and that's when they paid me from till the 31st Oct, then 4 weekly from the 31st, if you downloaded your forms it will be from scan date.

So as i have stated previously, update UC with the dates from when you initially rang for DLA forms not the scan date.xx

Tmxx · 30/10/2023 11:38

@Sskanf 11th July also!

Cannot believe its another 4 weeks to wait I swear it's unbearable!

Sskanf · 30/10/2023 11:45

I'm still going to call 2nd week of November let's see if the trend of 5 weeks after receiving 2nd txt is true

Keddie · 30/10/2023 11:48

Sskanf · 30/10/2023 11:49

Courtneymxo · 30/10/2023 12:08

ARH36 · 30/10/2023 12:19

@4LittleFirecrackers Im in Yorkshire too, scan date 29/06. Hoping to hear something this week

Donnab84 · 30/10/2023 12:43

Hi been reading the threads for afew week now.
Scan date 12/7
Rang this morning to see if they had received extra evidence I had sent which they have. The lady I spoke to was lovely and said the wait times are 18 weeks.

Good luck to everyone

@PinkMoscatoLover
Panic over, I received notification of an incoming payment from my bank this morning.
So works out 3 weeks and 5 days after his back pay.
UC on the other hand are a nightmare they've had my request for backpack for DCE & CE for 3 weeks and I still have heard anything. I'm starting to wonder of they're going to wait til bear my next payment date. Which is 16th November.

Billie1993 · 30/10/2023 12:50

Currently on hold at the moment scan date 12/7 to see if they have received my extra evidence as I’m nervous as I forgot to add my child’s name and date of birth to the front of the envelope only added the reference number, so I am hoping it hasn’t been lost.

good luck to all this week 🩷

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 30/10/2023 12:52

My request is with a decision maker on uc now and verification of my children has been completed... now the few weeks wait for uc to get their butt's in gear starts 🤣 xx

That’s perfect! You’ll receive DLA every four weeks from that date too in case you want to keep track.

UC can be a nightmare. Pop a message on your journal chasing it up. Put the message under ‘Payments’ so that it goes directly to the DM

That’s great! Hopefully you’ll get the letter informing you how much the backpay is asap. It’ll only be 3-5 working days to receive the payment from when you get the letter on your journal

Muva306 · 30/10/2023 13:09

Hello all!! Hope everyone is well!! Good luck to those who are waiting and massive congratulations to those who have been awarded. I reported my changes the day I found out my son had been awarded. Received this today on my journal, I’m terrible at processing/understanding information!! Can anyone explain in simple terms to me 😂😂

4LittleFirecrackers · 30/10/2023 13:14

@ARH36 fingers crossed, we’re 18 weeks this week so should be about there now 🤞

Tmxx · 30/10/2023 13:15

Sorry someone's asked this but I missed the answer, is the 18 week wait when you will receive a decision or is it an 18 week wait just to reach a dm? Xx

When you sign up for UC, one of the commitments is that you’ll report any changes that have happened during your assessment period within that assessment period. So say your child was awarded and scan date was in June, you should have told UC about the change IN June.

Because the wait time is so long for DLA, obviously no one can do that. It’s just a letter saying that on this occasion the DM has said that they’ll accept the fact that you reported the change outside of the assessment period.

You’ll get a letter on your journal confirming how much the backpay amount will be soon

It’s a 18 week wait to receive a decision overall. However, they can extend the wait time at any point which is frustrating for all of us!

Muva306 · 30/10/2023 13:29

@PinkMoscatoLover oh Perf!! Thank you for clarifying. I’m glad that they are so fair especially when it comes down to DLA and the excruciating wait times

MumofLou · 30/10/2023 13:42

@LGR004 so pleased you are in the DMs pile now! Where are you based, lovely? I'm Kent with the same scan and text dates, I'm trying to figure out where our abouts in the system our claim is 😆

LGR004 · 30/10/2023 13:47

@MumofLou Kent here too! , tempted to call Wednesday but I don’t see getting a decision in 2 days being the case of it only went to a DM this morning ! 😩 hate this wait x
