Following on from part 16…..

@Mummyrach13 I would of called today lmao!! But I'd ring in morning rather than Wednesday, I'm certain yours would of been looked at by now! If it's a accepted award you can then tell UC and tell them your going down as a carer and you need your commitments changing you shouldn't have to attend your appointment then xxx

Not been able to get an answer before having go to dentist appointment x

I did think the same @Mumto2sengirlsxx but then I really don’t want to hear that it’s not been done yet or even a decline! I may even hold out till weds morning 🫢 x

@Mummyrach13 I'd just call I know it's scary but your either gonna find out on the phone or recieve a letter and have to call anyway... im sure if you tell uc that you've applied for dla for your child and want to go down as a carer they can hold your appointments until its cleared, that's what I did when I applied for pip for myself xx

Just recieved a phone call from the decision maker because I missed a couple of questions on the form 🙈🙈 but she said she's looking at it now and I'll get a decision letter in the next 10 days and now I'm panicking thinking if she's just sending a letter out I'm being declined, I can't even ring because they close at 5, I'm not going to sleep tonight 😫

@Mumof385 not necessarily hun. I think they have to say they will send a letter because she has to formally write the decision on the system before telling you. So theirs still a chance you could get a approved award. Try not to stress to much xxx

@Mumof385 dont worry, i would defo ring tmrw to see what decision has been made hopefully a good one.

@busymummy555 id say a call from the decision maker is a good thing, rather than a straight decline. I’ve never seen anyone have a call to be declined. I will pluck up the courage to call tomorrow @Mumto2sengirlsxx 😬 xx

Omg !!!!! Yey !!!!! Just had a text to say my son qualifies, I'm going to ring first thing to find out which rates but just the fact they've listened and I get what my little man deserves, I'm just beyond relieved I could cry

Okay thank you I been trying to work it out, Mine has been 3 weeks today since first text and I haven’t got a second text yet, maybe I’ll call them Wednesday if no text by tomorrow? Thankyou for letting me know

Hi can somone please advise how the change of circumstances work daughter got award mrc but needs have gone up during the night so was hoping to put in to get hrc so if we ring and ask for a forum do they stop the payments she is getting now and we wait for a new decision or do the ongoing payments carry on

The ongoing payments carry on until a decision has been made, so your MRC payments won’t stop. They can also lower the award or remove the award completely when a COC is submitted just so you know that too. If your renewal is quite a way off and you think you have enough evidence for HRC then defo do a COC instead of waiting to the renewal date

I'm 14/8 scan date and its taking 18 weeks apparently I'm 18 weeks on December 18th ... I don't see us getting anywhere until after Christmas... its taking so long x

My 2nd text was exactly 3 weeks after my 1st text. Some people had texts 2 weeks and 6 days apart, others had text 3 weeks and 1 day apart but nine was 3 weeks exactly

Okay Thankyou for letting me know, hopefully I’ll get a second text soon, hate the waiting lol making me so anxious

@LGR004 iv only had one text so far which was 4 weeks ago, im 17 weeks tmrw so i think the texts are probably just random and not everyone gets 2 or even gets them at a fixed time x

Oh yeah 100%. My scan date is 11/08 and I’m just hoping for a decision by the end of the year at the very latest🤞🏾

Amen to that! Nothing left for an Mr after all this anxiety of waiting this long 😪😪 hopefully an mr isnt needed for both of us xx
