@Clazamumof2girls i feel the stress ! & good excuse to call see what they say! Hopefully we’re with a DM and get a decision this week ! Try stay positive sweet.. I’m debating calling tomorrow but like you I called Thursday as well and told was in a waiting pile for DM .. could have gone to a DM this weekend but I’m too nervous to call! Will you be calling tomorrow or Tuesday ? Xx

@MumofLou likewise with the 5 week from text! & well I’m probably better keeping these 2 pieces of ‘evidence’ if need go to MR .. likewise this weekend tried to keep busy but constantly sitting here dreading this week , worried incase decision been made this weekend or tomorrow .. thinking I’ll leave it till Tuesday / Wednesday maybe Thursday 😂 just scared to call to be honest 😂xx

@LGR004 im sure if you can hold out you will get a banking notification by mid week, suppose if nothing by then, then give them a call. I feel sick tbh about ringing but my evidence should be scanned on tomorrow so just want to check it gets there in time or I think I’d be putting off ringing x

@LGR004 yeah I’m hoping they’ve already gone through to DMs this weekend, fingers crossed for us all 🤞I’ll probably leave it til Tues now as I’ve got a pretty full on day at work tomorrow so not sure I’ve got the time to call them. This thread certainly keeps me sane though, I’d be lost without it now!! Xx

@CGW1209 i am so very sorry for your loss. It must be an absolutely awful time for you. I’ve not experienced child loss so difficult for me to comprehend your thoughts and feelings. DLA is very much to support your finances, which you needed at that time (it’s not your fault there are massive delays) any back pay would hopefully reduce some financial stress for you in these difficult times so I can understand your DH point of view. I can also see it from your side too and I can imagine for your mental health you need to stop answering questions about DC disability and needs when you are grieving. I would always put your self care first above money (easier said than done when most people are struggling financially I know) could you explain to your husband how you feel and hand it over to him to chase/sort so you can finalise this chapter? x

@Rebeccanew it very well could have been ! There working over time on weekends currently to catch up! Deffo give them a call back tomorrow 9am on the dot and double check ! What’s your scan date? X

@LGR004 aww no hope your LO gets better soon. It’s so hard when they’re poorly as well as all the care they need. My youngest is always poorly, actually been debating whether to try claiming for her too. This claim is for my eldest (13) who is Autistic but major SPD and anxiety. My youngest (4)is looking to be on the pathway too.. very challenging behaviours, a lot like her sister at her age, so I’m recognising all the signs. She masks and mirrors in nursery though and lets it all out when home, which I know is typical. But she has asthma too, which in the winter is horrendous and doesn’t sleep hardly. She is constantly getting viral infections, like non stop through the winter but settles on her chest. Just don’t know if I could through all this worry and anxiety so soon again 😩 she’s only just getting the help from CDC and HV so currently don’t have much evidence apart from her asthma. Think if we get a positive outcome for my eldest I will definitely try for her too. Currently working full time (single mum with no family around) so would be nice to be able to cut down my hours too to give them more me time as think the LO struggles with full days in nursery and behaviours are better during holidays… again because she’s not having to mask 🤷‍♀️ it’s so hard with ND children to get the support they need though especially when they hide so much. I work in education and see what happens to the elder children who haven’t been identified and support put in place for a young age… it’s awful for them as most learnt behaviours have manifested by then and hard to put things in place to help them manage things themselves. Instead they get labelled the naughty ones still as they have so much pumped up frustration and so misunderstood. Sorry really gets me cross how much we have to fight to get the help they need… I’ll get off my soapbox now haha 😂 xx

@LGR004 In a way, I think that’s why I’m dreading calling them because if we get a decline I will absolutely loose it or start crying down the phone 😂😂 don’t think anyone else realises how bloody hard things are when someone has additional needs..and I don’t just mean for us, all our babies too 🥰

My scan date is 11/08 and I received one text on 16/10

Thankyou for the reply, I had one text on 9th October but haven’t received anything since, they said upto 15 weeks but it’s looking like around 20 weeks hoping it won’t take to much longer, so anxious waiting
