My son was awarded yesterday, no text phoned this morning. Scan date 09.06. Not diagnosed but suspected ADHD, PDA and SPD. He’s 6. I only had snap assessment from school, supporting statement from my step mum and health visitor.

scan date 09.06

Congratulations I’m so happy and relieved for you and your LO. Well deserved after all that wait xx

Jolouise1986 · 17/10/2023 10:07

Does anyone know how long it is usually with a DM for as mine went to a DM on Wednesday last week so hoping I hear something this week, my scan date was the 14/6

I am still waiting since Wednesday last week aswell. Apparently can take up to 10 days.

I’m same date as you. I called yesterday and it’s with dm. But I’m so tempted to call 🙈

Congratulations to those awarded, good luck to those still waiting 😬

Cant believe how anxious the wait makes you!

BabaganooToo · 17/10/2023 10:17

Does anyone know what happens if you don't get acknowledgment of them receiving the application before the cut off date?

I sent the form for DS two weeks ago. I have Royal Mail proof of delivery. But the "cut off" date for the back payment to send date is tomorrow and they still haven't been in touch. Is there any point in me calling them? Will it just mean that, should he be awarded, it won't get back payed? Thanks 😊

LizBennet · 17/10/2023 10:21

You should be ok @BabaganooToo, I sent CoC forms on the 15th March and the were scanned 21st March, I didn’t get a letter until 6 weeks later confirming they’d received it, that was through their free post mail.

I sent an MR recorded delivery last Monday and they’d received it on Tuesday they told me yesterday x

Caitlyn59 · 17/10/2023 10:24

Hi what was your scan date
thank you

Sjx5 · 17/10/2023 10:30

I phoned this morning just hoping for an update.

Scan date 16/6 new claim

She said it wasnt with a DM yet and wont be till 18 1/2 weeks

Just to give a rough guide for anyone else wondering same date

Mumof2asd · 17/10/2023 10:31

@LizBennet brilliant thank you

zoeybrooks45 · 17/10/2023 10:53

I have no shame, I’m pretty sure they record when you call on the system. Because they always mention that there is no progress. Still with DM today open and no answer of yet, congrats to all those awarded today x

Vikz37 · 17/10/2023 10:56

I called this morning but wheb it tells me all customer service advisors are busy and too hold it beeps and hangs up. I need to add that he's now been diagnosed and on meds hopefully before it goes to the DM.

Jolouise1986 · 17/10/2023 10:58

To add to those whose scan date before myn 15/06 she said they pretty much backdate to the exact day so myn will be 18 weeks tomorrow so should get it tomorrow.so could of been awarded but not receive the money until it falls on the day if that makes sense lol

Jolouise1986 · 17/10/2023 11:05

Sorry thurs not tomorrow

Did you say if you sent much evidence? I can’t remember. Can’t believe they haven’t made a decision yet though regardless! X

LizBennet · 17/10/2023 11:07

Yeah I got the letter on the Saturday and the backdated payment on the Tuesday, you don’t always get the letter after the payment x

Tiredmamma74 · 17/10/2023 11:09

Does anyone know when it goes to a decision maker exactly how many are in that pile for them to work through? 🤣

Pretty sure I sent close to 40 pages. Reports, consultant letters etc. but they guy said they haven’t requested any extra information or waiting for anything. He said probably hasn’t come round to it yet. I am 18 weeks today. Last text 12/09. Yours is with DM? Hopefully not long left you. The wait is more agonising when you realise that it’s with DM haha x

Mummytodo · 17/10/2023 11:12
