Hi
If you get awarded is it paid from the day you phoned for the form or the day they say they received the form .
thanks

Jneill2021 · 14/10/2023 10:08

The day you phoned for the form x

Mummyof5kiddos · 14/10/2023 10:11

How about if you printed the forms out to send is it the date you’ve wrote on the forms? Or the scan date?

zoeybrooks45 · 14/10/2023 11:02

@Georgia1721 i think we are in the same predicament, no news been with DM a few days, I am so anxious. Hopefully not too long left. Let me know if you call on Monday, x

Georgia1721 · 14/10/2023 12:30

@zoeybrooks45 probably the same DM 😩 x

Mumtotwoboys121 · 14/10/2023 12:54

I think I’m going to call again on Thursday where il be 18 weeks & 1 day hopefully hear before though x

Muva306 · 14/10/2023 13:06

@Kelmum2three i already get UC so I have updated cares for section and made a change to the child section too. I’m self employed so was subject to the minimum floor income, so for may, June and July I had 191 something deducted from my UC payment and then he turned 5 in July so august, September and October I’ve had 391 deducted from my UC payment 🥴🥴🥴🥴 I left a note on my journal yesterday about him receiving DLA now so they have removed the minimum floor income for me as I’m now deemed as a carer but realistically I want them to back pay all those months deductions to me because it’s a lot of money in the grand scheme of things!! Xx

Jneill2021 · 14/10/2023 13:21

I would leave a message and ask them xx

Am169 · 14/10/2023 14:21

@Muva306 I updated my UC on Tuesday when I knew my LO had been awarded HRC and have just had a letter telling me they have recalculated my UC entitlement and are paying £1600 back pay into my account as a result. We weren't getting anything before.

They should backdate it to the award from date. Put a message in under payments and request it’s sent to a decision maker.

@Am169 that is fantastic news!! I think I might give them a call next week so tell them I’ve made all the necessary changes to my journal and to ask about them backdating the minimum floor income I’ve been deducted for the months since I put my DLA claim in

Muva306 · 14/10/2023 14:32

I’ve just double checked and it’s just over £1700 I’ve had deducted since May for the minimum floor income. They were quick enough to take it,
so fingers crossed they are as quick to repay it

Natelias · 14/10/2023 15:45

Does anyone know what u do if you still get tax credits do you just inform them ? I see lots on the uc side but I haven't been switched yet
