great news that you have got your decision ! I have also called today and my claim is with a decision maker so i hope it wont be too much longer now

hi guys there is a thread 13 with lots more people comment with scan dates etc., its under mumsnet 13 childcare, all is DLA related and everyone is awaiting a reply from a very long wait :)

@user45368294 Sorry i don’t know if you can print out yourself but i received a renewal pack in July for November renewal. Am now regretting not filling it in earlier.

Hi I applied for my daughter in May got letter confirming receipt in June and have had 3 text messages saying they are still assessing. I keep calling but get cut off when through to the right department. What else can I do?

@Hrm3 think my dates same as yours I've had 3 texts too,I went to call but just said no need yo contact them think it's just a waiting game.im lost as I've read 18 weeks and also read like 28 weeks.its frustrating not knowing what's going on isn't it.im on 15 week from scan date so maybe bit longer yet

Fingers crossed today guys I’m 16+6 for new claim and 26+4 weeks for change of circumstances the wait is killing me!

@Hrm3 call exactly 9am if you get cut off call again straight away. The closer to 9 am it is the shorter the wait time normally.

Hi anyone know if there's a new post started for DLA 2023 it reached page 40 then said its too full

Sorry to jump on this thread, but can any of you kind people point me in a direction on any help with filling out the DLA forms? I don't know where to begin with them! Thank you 🙂

There is yes part 14 I had to type it in the search x

Cerebra guide was very helpful. I also contacted citizens advice and they put me in touch with a local charity that helped.
I wasn't very quick so missed the 6 week deadline. It will only be back dated to when they got the forms (if DS is successful)

Start keeping a diary over the next 5/7 days, if you haven't already, I found that helpful for references.
You don't realise how much extra you do when it becomes part of your everyday.

Our scan date was 23/05/23, I rang them as we are now week 18. I have had 2 letters one saying 11 weeks then 1 saying 15 weeks. When I called after being in the queue for an hour and a half they said the average wait time is 27 weeks! this is for COC not new claim

Unfortunately that’s right I’m coc 24/03 27 weeks Friday I’ve rang today and still not been allocated to a dm yet and said it’s looking another 2 weeks so could be getting to 30 weeks by the time it’s all been sorted hang on in there x

@CoffeeLover90 I caved and called this afternoon and after an hour and 15 minute wait, they told me my sons application went to the DM yesterday!!

Congratulations can I ask what was your scan date x
