Feeling anxious seeing people get awarded after his scan date of the 18th but having heard nothing, anyone been able to get through this morning?

Currently waiting on the phone 😂 seeing everyone else around my scan date be awarded has made me call again to see where I am on the list 😂 I’m scan date of 24/26 may. I can’t actually remember, but I know it’s one of those two..

Hi everyone I received my letter today that states my daughter has qualified for low rate mobility and middle rate care. What other help can I apply for? I don't work so I think I can apply for the disabled child element on uc? Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can still claim carers element, but worth checking with UC.
My scan date is 17th May and they said il hear next week /2 week max.

Also send in any evidence even if they have looked at the claim already and made a decision because they can re look at this .

Got through, yeah they re quoting 18 weeks to get to decision maker and his is in the holding queue to go to one. Really hoping it's an overestimate.

scan date of 24th may so I was right somehow 😂. Still in the holding queue and no update on timeframes as may is due this month.

Just got through, pretty unhelpful, she confirmed they had received the EHCP sent at the start of summer as Extra evidence. And that they are getting to May claims so should be another few weeks but not with the decision maker, scan date of 17/05 but returned on the 12/05 x

I think they are over estimating. I called Monday and was told another couple of weeks my scan date was the 11th of May. I must of had a decision Tueaday as I received the letter and back payment today and the letter was dated Tuesday. I've updated UC for the disabled child element and put a journal note to ask for it to be backdated does anyone know if they will do this?

HI all if its an 18 week wait then that makes mine 6th October as scan date is 2/6/2023 how frustrating

I’ve also left a note on my journal, but I don’t have good previous with universal credit, they have currently stopped my payments because I’m apparently a benefit fraud, single mum with children and obviously just been awarded dla and I work part time I sent all my docs back to them that they needed within 24 hours as I have nothing to hide and 5 weeks later they have still left me with no update and no money 🫠🙃

Yes I believe they backdate it, have you checked your eligibility for carers element too?

I'm 18th of may...just got off the phone to them and it's going to be with a decision maker next week .

Just been awarded for dc on Tuesday.. I got from them saying because she been awarded about me being appointed and about money etc but no award letter with what has been awarded etc has anyone else had this? Is it a new thing?

My scan date 13/06. I am going to be optimistic and guess DM week of Sept 25 or following week. This wait is so painful. I can’t eat, sleep and concentrate on anything. Hearing all the good news keeps me going, congrats all that have been awarded this week!

Dc scan date was 9/5. Maybe yours will be around 17 week as that's when most seem to be looked at..it definitely is a worrying time waiting. Good luck.

We re the same date and they told me this morning it d take 2 weeks to get to a decision marker, I hope it's that they overestimated for me.
