I see thread 12 is full. Is there a Part 13 already, or shall we make this it?

Currently how long is it from sending in to receiving the letter confirming documents received? An estimate would be great - thank you!

Gem013 · 10/09/2023 19:12

It was around 6 weeks after for me. I rang after 3 weeks though to check they had recieved it as i was worried because I hadn't heard from them.

almightyfroggie · 10/09/2023 19:58

Best of luck to you all this week. Hope we hear some good news x

Bethm439 · 10/09/2023 20:12

Mine was over 3 weeks too,
I called up and they received it 2 weeks after sending .
I just didn't get the letter to say they received it untill a few weeks after , then had 2 automated messages to say "still looking at claim"

Mumtotwoboys121 · 11/09/2023 07:18

Good luck everyone for this week! Hoping to see near the end of May dates soon! X

Tjay19 · 11/09/2023 09:43

my scan date is 19/5. I just spoke to them and it isn’t with the decision maker yet. He said I’ll hopefully hear something by the end of the month 🤦‍♀️

I'm same date was hoping to hear something this week 🤦‍♀️ seen people with 15th being awarded so thought they must nearly be at our date

Tjay19 · 11/09/2023 10:11

I thought the same 🤷🏼‍♀️ he said most claims are taking 18 weeks at the moment.

Daisymarie1 · 11/09/2023 10:17

Hi, I was just wondering how everyone was ringing for an update?
every time I call it just takes me through pressing all these numbers and then hangs up.
Also, what does scan date mean? Is that when they received the application?
thank you

anorb · 11/09/2023 10:22

Yes I got that I suspect their systems can only hold so many calls at once. I tried again at 9:26 and I'm still on hold !! Keep trying.

Tjay19 · 11/09/2023 10:24

I pressed the option for current claim and was on hold for about 40 minutes. Yeah scan date is the date they received it. Should be on your letter.

Muminboys · 11/09/2023 10:37

Scan date 10/05. I called this morning at 9am and got through straight away. My son was awarded on Friday HRC LRM until 2027. Good luck to all those waiting x

anorb · 11/09/2023 10:54

Scan date 10.05 - was awarded this morning.
Thought they'd forgotten us when I'd seen later scan dates.
We got HRC & LRM.. keep the faith you are your child's biggest advocate. Good luck 🤞

Angry84 · 11/09/2023 11:23

Just called and my daughters claim has just gone to dm today. Her scan date was 17 May I'm so stressed now. 😫
Is it socially acceptable to put wine on my cornflakes?
"Asking for a friend '
(This is a joke btw)

zoeybrooks45 · 11/09/2023 11:25

Congratulations to those receiving good news today! Hopefully not long left for the rest of us. It’s always good to call at 9am once they open the contact line, otherwise estimate a 50/60 min wait. It seems applications are taking between 16/18 week to process at the moment. We are between 10-20th May, as other mention previously some DM are faster then others, it depend largely whose inbox your application is assigned to.

1st of June will likely be around 2nd October to reach DM.

Hi I’m new here, my scan date was June 9th,not heard anything since apart from a letter saying they have received it on 9th June. Which im
presuming means scan date on here. It was a change of circumstances, not a new application. Has anyone had a scan date of around the same time and heard anything back yet. Many thanks.

Earlier in thread, others mentioned change of circumstances is taking up to 20 weeks to process. If it for renewal for your current award then you will hear back just before the award expires.

Siennasafiya · 11/09/2023 12:14

On hold now, scan date 15/05 🤞🏽

Fingers crossed hope you get the award you are hoping for 🤞.
Ours went across this morning I'm scared to death I've got another battle ahead if it's declined. I've got enough battles trying to get my daughter help I don't want any more.

Siennasafiya · 11/09/2023 12:49

Finally with a decision maker! Does anyone know how long this stage usually is? X
