Anyone has a scan date of 28th February? I haven't recieved any update at all. Just called after been on hold for an hour only to be told it is still not with DM and can't say anything about when it will be. It is so so stressing waiting without any update at all.

It so frustrating isn't it.

If February people are still waiting to hear, I may as well forget about it all until July.

I reckon I’ll get turned down so I’m probably best to read up on mandatory reconsideration instead.

With the increased wait times, I think we are seeing the effects of all the bank holidays.

I’ve been watching this thread for a while but haven’t posted. My scan date is 1st of march. Will be 14weeks this coming weds. Hoping to hear something soon. It’s been such a long wait.

I think a few of us are on week 14 with a day here and there, they've definitely added on a week. I'd have hoped to hear something this week but its looking unlikely. @Yummymmy I also waited over an hour and was met with a very matter of fact lady who told me to carry on waiting 🙃 😒., and that she couldn't tell me much 🤷‍♀️

Well we probably had same lady, who was driving in a car if i dare say. Very unhelpful and seems annoyed that i called. Hopefully we get some good news soon. X

I sent two claim forms one for my daughter hers was received Feb 6th she was awarded on may 6th and my sons was received march 29th but obviously nothing as yet in regards to a decision and tbh I'm not even going to chase it by ringing them it will be what it will be

@Daisymum18 thank you that’s good to know! My scan date is the 14th March but I’m really not hopeful 🙈 x at least you have had a decision on one of the claims xx

But of hope for you all mine was 16th Feb and I called at 13 weeks was told it wasn't with a dm called the next morning and my daughters was first on the pile and her claim had been seen and awarded... results can change so quickly hope you all get your answers soon!! Xx

Sooooo I’m backkkk @Mumto2sengirlsxx ive taken your advise and the MR has gone in today with letters from health profession (school nurse) basically stating that the reasons for declining my DD were not right … she’s written a fab letter and along with daughters WISC report and statements from me saying why I disagree with the decision…. So I’m back into waiting now , no idea how long a MR takes but think I might be sticking around for a bit yet 😂

@Kenny312 thats really good I was thinking about you! So happy you went through with it. You have waited all this time. And hopefully won't be too long now. Happy you got all the relevant paperwork and sent it off, it can be disheartening.please do keep us updated. Good luck Xx

@Kenny312 that's amazing!! You defo needed to hopefully they will see where they went wrong and finally give you and your child the award you deserve, I'll be joining the waiting queue too I have to submit my youngest daughters dla this week 😒 xx

Hi I’m wondering if anyone could help please my scan date is the 28th of feb I missed a call yesterday from a decision maker who then left a voicemail stating she would call back but never did has anyone else had a phone call from a decision maker if so what questions did they ask? It’s sent my anxiety through the roof 😩 currently on hold 🥴

Good Morning! Just our my renewal form and I have tried to ring 3 times this morning to ask if I need to send the same evidence of the diagnosis to them as I did last time (same documents) and I get right through to the end of the menu and it turns to the engaged tone and the call ends, anyone else having problems?

Alternatively, anyone know if I need to send the same evidence off every time?

Oh that must make your anxious. I am 28th February as well. But nothing still

@LmumL I bet your anxiety is high your doing the right thing by calling them. Hopefully you will get it resolved its always annoying when you miss a call. Please do let us know how you get on
@BizzleFizzle id advise to keep on calling sorry your having trouble getting through, but its always best to ask about what to send in hope you get through and that they can answer your questions xx

All the 28th scan dates we are one day apart. So it seems like they are working their way through these dates. Hopefully we here soon xx

Hi I finally got through to a lovely lady but unfortunately my claim was declined yesterday the decision maker didn’t call back even though she said she would I could have at least explained more on the phone 😢 apparently my daughters school are not very helpful and wouldn’t support my claim any tips on MR x

@LmumL oh I'm so sorry to hear this. Please don't give up. Wait for the letter, make a note of all the reasons why it was declined, and for each section write a paragraph or so why u disagree amd why your child should of been awarded
get support letters/ medical evidence from anyone that is involved in your child's care school, drs, consultants. Maybe go back to school and ask them for letter of support, Put it all together and send it off make sure you do it in the time frame. Dont give up you've waited all this time its just a little longer. Hope you feel better I k ow it can be really upsetting xx

LmumL- I’m really sorry to hear that. Don’t despair, go for MR and appeal if you have to. Find out exactly why your application was declined. Is there a relevant charity that could help with forms? So often, you’re so used to your child’s condition, you don’t realise how much you’re doing that’s over and above what you’d do for a non-disabled child the same age.

I’m expecting to be declined too. I’m going to fight it all the way. I hope they haven’t tried to contact my GP- I haven’t seen my GP at all about my child’s condition!

Thank you all so much I’m absolutely gutted but I’m ready for the MR so I will keep you all updated I hope you all get a positive outcome and your children get what they deserve the system doesn’t seem very consistent and I think it’s literally pot luck who looks at your claim xx

One thing we have to note is to keep eye on our phones incase they ring if they were at 28th yesterday today they will be looking at the 1st so hopefully not long and as there text messaging service is very reliant they may very well have made a decision as I type but I'm too anxious to call.. is anyone else going to call today xx
