Brown2010 · 23/03/2023 12:11

@Boymom10 😫 gosh makes me feel sick .. 🤞🏻 For you too xx

Boymom10 · 23/03/2023 12:14

@Brown2010 i know it’s awful I just said my carers will stop and she said there nothing I can do about it. I just don’t know what to do. My anxiety is so bad with this. I just don’t know what to do really

Brown2010 · 23/03/2023 12:21

@Boymom10 same I got the letter to say it’s stopping .. stressful .. I’ve been the same but feel like life’s at a stand still until we hear the outcome. I do think it’s terrible to leave it so close to end date/after end date x hopefully they get yours done over the weekend xx

Boymom10 · 23/03/2023 12:35

@Brown2010 hopefully… I just rang carers and told them he was lovely and said he made a note that they will look at it on the end date and he told me to ring as soon as I find out. He said why do they leave it so late it’s ridiculous

Supermom92 · 23/03/2023 13:41

Scan date 23/12 had a phone about 30 min ago decision maker asking some questions and she said I should have a decision within the next week , I also told her about the changes too and the medication not working as that was one of the questions she asked . So fingers crossed for my daughter . X

I've heard a lot of people say that if you appeal a claim you're awarded (say if you're given lrc and you think you should have mrc) then if you appeal your risk losing your award altogether? How and why?

Snickerdoodles19 · 23/03/2023 15:55

@chuggins i think it’s because it goes to a different decision maker and they will look at the info from their perspective, I don’t think all decision makers are kind and take all information into account

Thankyou
It's wrong really

Supermom92 · 23/03/2023 16:04

I will do thankyou , think I'm even more anxious and nervous now incase it's declined

AnxietyMumma · 23/03/2023 16:30

My sons EHCP was accepted today

Waiting for DLA to answer. 30 minutes waiting currently. Either for them to tell me the award or to add the fact the EHCP has been accepted

ToughMum · 23/03/2023 17:37

@AnxietyMumma let us know what they say. I am in same boat. LA agreed to assess. It has been exactly 12 weeks today for DLA. But so much changed since the form was submitted as his needs increased but I did talk about worst case. I will appeal but I really hope it isn't because it's draining.

AnxietyMumma · 23/03/2023 17:46

@ToughMum they didn't answer. I was on hold for 1 hour 8 minutes and it cut off. Another sleepless night tonight on the cards as usual

ToughMum · 23/03/2023 20:27

@AnxietyMumma try to rest and hace positive thoughts. I am strong in faith and believe you will get it. Happy thoughts only. You can't look after children if your unwell yourself. Nothing will change by you worrying. Take care and I am sure we will all get good news. If not we will appeal and get it turned. 🙏

AnxietyMumma · 23/03/2023 21:00

@ToughMum thank you so much for some uplifting words. I will call first thing tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🤞

BlackBarbies · 23/03/2023 21:06

Spoke to someone today and my scan date was on Monday. I know loads of you have been waiting for a while but I originally set the form in January and they didn’t receive it. I found it so stressful filling in the form for a second time so I’m just happy that it’s finally with them. Let the wait begin!

BlackBarbies · 23/03/2023 21:06

Can someone also confirm what DM and LRM stands for? Just a few acronyms that I’ve seen on the thread

Boymom10 · 23/03/2023 21:10

Dm is decision maker
LRM is low rate mobility

Boymom10 · 23/03/2023 21:21

Is there any one else that is due to end in the next couple of days and still haven’t heard anything?

CheesePlease33 · 24/03/2023 09:03
