@tbxx I was told yesterday 15 weeks. He said they are mainly on beginning of December now

I literally think it depends who you speak to and where your file ends up as some DMs seem to take only 2 days and some seem to takes 2 weeks x

Is anyone else around 19th dec scan date

AnxietyMumma · 08/03/2023 10:34

@Patientlywaitingx2 I'm shocked you were told 2 different things. Will you call again today?!

Like we don't have a long wait and worry of having to MR. It's not about the money but it would help to fund the stuff our children need/want. My son came home from school yesterday will multiple holes in his polo top that he made with a pencil. He had put them down his top and pushed them out. Not 1 person had noticed

AnxietyMumma · 08/03/2023 10:35

@Patientlywaitingx2 mine is the 20th x

Yes one told me it was with a case manager then the next day the other lady said no its not even been sent over yet. I know its costing me a fortune in taxis because he wont go on the bus. Wont get a bath without the taps running so used all the gas ruins all his shoes and clothes list goes on not to mention all the damage to the house and tvs. Smashed the tv screen with a cup

MommyToFive · 08/03/2023 10:43

I rang back again today to see if I was told anything different but was surprised to be told the same thing as yesterday that it's definitely been allocated to a decision maker, scan day was 30/11 so Im hoping I'm not waiting too much longer

AnxietyMumma · 08/03/2023 10:49

@Patientlywaitingx2 do you not get any help with the taxi? Seems like you should be. I know here some children with needs are taken by taxi to school when transport isn't available

It's so hard. My friends son really goes to town on her house. I know its not their fault obviously, but it puts a lot of pressure on the parent(s)/carers

I'm really lucky he doesn't break things or ruin things. He's only done it to his school uniform. Many times he's broken small things but nothing expensive!! He presents as ASD, PDA, ADHD and Sensory Overload. The waiting lists for ASD and ADHD are so long here x

lawraahh32 · 08/03/2023 10:57

Still nothing either this is just annoying now isn’t it, especially seeing everyone else being awarded after our date!

He is only nearly 3 hes in private nursery now. He has sensory and is on the waiting list for a peads app he has s&l therapy also. I cant have any ornaments or pictures in here they get smashed up.need a cage for the tv x

Mommax3 · 08/03/2023 11:28

I’m getting frustrated with the wait too! It just does not seem the process is as fair as they make out, some cases are being dealt with so much faster than others.

I was going to call again this morning but been in A&E with my oldest who dropped a plate on her toe this morning (not what was needed after a night shift) she’s broken it 🙄 so home today to rest and ice it.

i think I will try them tomorrow morning and see whether there is an update.

chuggins · 08/03/2023 11:38

For anyone with a scan date similar to mine (13/01) it was initially a 13 week wait now just been told it's a 15 week wait on the phone. Such a long process since. Hope all you earlier dates get some news soon 🤞

MommyToFive · 08/03/2023 11:42

I've just had a phone call off the decision maker so at least I know they told the truth that's it's with them, seemed like a nice man and was asking questions about my daughter's condition, and that he was still reading through the form, he would ring the school if needed. He also said he would try make a decision by the end of the week, fingers crossed

Momofboys2821 · 08/03/2023 13:16

Been following this group for weeks. Phoned yesterday was told with care worker and should hear by end of week scan date 29th November. Then phoned today just to check as others are being told different things to be told my son was declined on the 3rd why I wasn't told yesterday i don't know

Aw no.

lawraahh32 · 08/03/2023 13:45

Does anyone know what number you have to ring for an update? And do I need to say my reference number when I call?

Minnie83 · 08/03/2023 13:59

@Momofboys2821 aw no, appeal

Mommax3 · 08/03/2023 14:07

@MommyToFive that’s awful!! I’m so sorry you’ve been declined. Did they give you any reason as to why over the phone?
Did you provide much evidence with the form or fill it in?

Momofboys2821 · 08/03/2023 14:10

No reason just said wait for letter 🙄 my son hasn't left the house in 5 months or spoken to anyone we have support workers mental health visitors he has anxiety depression and autism
