AnxietyMumma · 07/03/2023 12:27

@Lisakel congratulations. Hope you got what you were hoping for

I reckon I've got 4 weeks left at the least. I'm down in the south west. Everything just seems to take a very long time

Thank you fingers crossed it's quicker for you x

Daechwita · 07/03/2023 12:54

Apologies if this is a stupid question. I've FINALLY completed my daughter's DLA application and I plan to post it today.
I know there's a second-class freepost envelope but I've decided to pay to send it via recorded delivery to put my mind at ease.
Any idea if I omit the entire first line from the address or do I still need to include the 12-digit reference number? I'm unsure if this relates solely to the freepost part or not.

I've just called, scan date of 22nd Dec. Looking at another 3 to 4 weeks yet...Also waiting for an appeal - so much waiting!

chuggins · 07/03/2023 13:08

Mommax3 · 07/03/2023 12:34

No me either!! Still waiting. It’s so frustrating seeing dates after ours being awarded, even though I am so happy when it’s good news.
I just want to be put out of my misery, it’s the most nerve wracking wait ever.
@chuggins usually a letter, and or text if you ticked that box!
@Patientlywaitingx2 isnt that always the case, then after you kick yourself 😂

Thankyou!

Dotty765 · 07/03/2023 13:31

Ah :( the wait is terrible. I've just seen someone on fb has been awarded today from 11/02! Good for them but that's madness xx

Dotty765 · 07/03/2023 13:33

Oh my really where about were they? X

Justyouwaitandseeagain · 07/03/2023 13:37

Just done some sums and looks like we have been awarded Higher rate care and Low rate mobility backdated to November plus the £10 Xmas bonus.

MommyToFive · 07/03/2023 13:40

I applied for dla scan date was 30/11/22.
Been told a few different waiting times first was 13/14 weeks then 15 weeks then 12/13 then 14 today I rang and was told it was sent to a decision maker last Friday, was told to wait up to 21-28 days, I hope it doesn't take that long

Neikz · 07/03/2023 13:48

I just rang spoke to a really nice man called Martin he said it's taking 14 and a half weeks to get to the top of the pile for decision my scan date 28th November so 14+1

Caseymayy · 07/03/2023 14:33

I have been silently following along with this thread. Called for my forms 07/11 and scan date is 29/11. I’ve called numerous times and been told 14 weeks which is today, called at 09:30 this morning to be told my forms were marked to go in the overtime pile this weekend passed but they didn’t 🙄 he said he assumes they will go this weekend for a decision and he’s put a note on his calendar to call me Monday. His name was Steven Miller.

I am based in Suffolk; desperately hoping they say yes for my son!

Sas1410 · 07/03/2023 15:28

I've had the text 3 times now, to say still looking at it x

Patientlywaitingx2 · 07/03/2023 15:45

Ive just rang up again. Its not even with a decision maker yet so god knows what she was on about yesterday saying its with the case manager

danijeanne · 07/03/2023 17:20

Our scan date was 29/11 called today and we were awarded yesterday.

Minnie83 · 07/03/2023 18:49

Northern Ireland seem to be alot quicker with decisions than over here

AnxietyMumma · 07/03/2023 19:51

I phone about 4pm to add a note onto my sons file. I didn't even ask how long I need to wait. He openly told me they are mostly working on beginning of December. My scan date is 20th December. He said end of March, beginning of April and I should hear something x

lixx · 07/03/2023 20:20

Hi,

Anyone know how long it takes once the form has gone to a decision maker?

Busymummmy84 · 08/03/2023 01:59

Hi guys I've been lurking for a fews weeks but never posted. My daughters scan date was 5/12 and she has been awarded mrc today for her epilepsy. we've had no phone call or text just backdated money in the bank for her. We are in Liverpool. Hoping my post gives some hope for others as know the wait is so long ❤️

exampleeleven · 08/03/2023 07:33

Can anyone shed any light?

Normally child gets MRC and LM = £345.2 every 4 weeks. Received this a week ago even though the award finishes a week today.

Today received £244.4 randomly?? Still waiting to hear about renewal. What’s going on?!

Is this to do with the renewal process do you think?

cdoth · 08/03/2023 07:35

Scan date 5th December, woke up this morning to a pending payment in bank 🥺 so happy!

Minnie83 · 08/03/2023 08:08

@cdoth how can you see pending payments ?

cdoth · 08/03/2023 08:21

@Minnie83 with my bank I can see payments the day before they are due

Snickerdoodles19 · 08/03/2023 08:57

@exampleeleven when is your renewal due to end?

Snickerdoodles19 · 08/03/2023 09:01

@exampleeleven when’s your actual payment due for march?
