They might start awarding December this week. See people saying certain areas are getting awarded quickly

Lisakel · 07/03/2023 10:14

Yea I'm in south east, I read they are taking the longest lol xx

Dotty765 · 07/03/2023 10:14

Do you know what areas are getting awarded quicker?

Have you rang up to ask x

Fifi202 · 07/03/2023 11:09

I just rang again. As it’s been 15 weeks and still no decision.
been with a decision maker since beginning of last week

lawraahh32 · 07/03/2023 11:23

No I haven’t, I had a missed call from a blocked number last Thursday which I guess might have been them but it was at 8.30am, no one ever called again though. That would have been 14 weeks then. So maybe it’s with a decision maker and I’ll find out soon. I don’t want to ring incase it’s declined :/

Justyouwaitandseeagain · 07/03/2023 11:39

Hi all. Our scan date was 28th November and I just checked and found a payment has gone into my acct from DLA this morning! For those who received the payment first, how long did it take to receive the letter confirming the rate? Not sure I want to go through the effort of a call.

Neikz · 07/03/2023 11:51

28 November still nothing

emilyant · 07/03/2023 12:25

They will probably send a text saying you’ve been approved (or not) and a letter will follow. I got my test and back pay a fortnight ago and still no letter! They tried to call me but I missed the call.
if you are mid January you probably have quite a wait I’m afraid.

emilyant · 07/03/2023 12:26

Still no letter nearly two weeks later. I rang to find out the amounts!

AnxietyMumma · 07/03/2023 12:27

@Lisakel congratulations. Hope you got what you were hoping for

I reckon I've got 4 weeks left at the least. I'm down in the south west. Everything just seems to take a very long time

Mommax3 · 07/03/2023 12:34

No me either!! Still waiting. It’s so frustrating seeing dates after ours being awarded, even though I am so happy when it’s good news.
I just want to be put out of my misery, it’s the most nerve wracking wait ever.
@chuggins usually a letter, and or text if you ticked that box!
@Patientlywaitingx2 isnt that always the case, then after you kick yourself 😂

cdoth · 07/03/2023 12:48

Hi everyone - new here. My scan date is 5th December. I've already had the generic "we're still looking at your claim" and I called yesterday to be told end of March - early April for a decision.

However, I've just had the still looking at your claim text again today. Do they usually send it more than once?

The wait is killing me now, I just want to know if we've been awarded 😢
