tbxx · 06/03/2023 10:44

Hi, i just got through after 1 and half hours on hold, my scan date is the 24/11/2022 and has been with the DM since thursday last week and still with the DM now so no update yet x

Lodol · 06/03/2023 10:44

Has anyone send additional information in… is it worth calling to check it’s arrived or do they send a text/letter once scanned?

lawraahh32 · 06/03/2023 11:09

Ah I think mine might be the same as yours. An hour and a half oh gosh ;( are you the south east?

harjinder01 · 06/03/2023 11:27

My scan date was28 November and 14 weeks today

Nicnac91 · 06/03/2023 11:35

Hi, I've been reading for a while. Scan date 5/12/22 for a renewal I'm East mids. Just rang this morning and a nice lady told me they are currently working on renewals due to end around 14/03/23. Mine is due to end 18/03 so it's cutting it very fine! 2 weeks until dla is due to end. This has been a long stressful wait. So anyone waiting on renewals you'll be waiting up until the final week unfortunately. Hope this post helps someone out x

yeh i left the phone on loud speaker and carried on doing what i was doing lool, im east london

Snickerdoodles19 · 06/03/2023 11:40

@Nicnac91 yes my current award ends 14/3, I phoned last week and the lady told me to ring middle of this week as it will be 1 week tomorrow so I’m hoping it’s gone to a dm

Nicnac91 · 06/03/2023 13:29

@Snickerdoodles19 fingers crossed for you, hopefully it's with the DM now maybe give them a ring Wednesday. Hoping you get a decision soon. Renewals are soo stressful, im hoping my son remains on MRC and hoping to get LRM. Have you heard of any that have either gone down a rate or been declined completely? That's my worry. But fingers crossed its been a long wait! Horrible not knowing where you stand with things

Snickerdoodles19 · 06/03/2023 13:42

@Nicnac91 no I’ve not seen a renewal been declined before but I think they can lower it if they feel that their care needs have changed, I’m going to ring on Wednesday I’m hoping it’s with a dm too as they know that it’s due to end.

Mommax3 · 06/03/2023 13:44

My scan date is the 28/11 (although that’s changed from the initial 24/11 I was told) so 14 weeks today. I’m South East, just seems to take forever for the cases down here!

lawraahh32 · 06/03/2023 14:05

Maybe it’s just taking longer here, it’s so frustrating :(

Kimmarris941 · 06/03/2023 14:27

From what the lady told me today each case manager gets a pack of forms and they strictly work in date order, so I guess it depends which pack you’re in and whether or not you’re at the bottom, I’m assuming being with a case manager means decision maker? Xx

tourettesadhdmum · 06/03/2023 15:55

@harjinder01 im so glad yours is finally sorted you’ve waited for so long! My claim was awarded a week ago today and since then i’ve had backdated money from DLA, tax credits and housing benefit. Make sure you all call U/C or tax credits etc asap so it’s sorted quickly for you all.

Good luck to anyone still waiting! x

lawraahh32 · 06/03/2023 16:54

Does anyone know can they call from an 020 number?

tourettesadhdmum · 06/03/2023 17:17

@harjinder01 i don’t know tbh as i am still on tax credits so mine was updated and backpay received within 3 days x

Patientlywaitingx2 · 06/03/2023 17:36

Hi been watching for a while. I uave just rang up and she said my claim is with a case manager and checked for notes and said theres none on. Is the case manager the decision maker. Thank you

Kimmarris941 · 06/03/2023 19:18

@Patientlywaitingx2 I’m wondering the same thing xx

Ali95 · 06/03/2023 19:19

Hi everyone sorry to jump on, I've been watching for a while an thought I'd join in the wait, I feel like it has been forever all ready but I know I'm in for a even longer wait, I first rang for forms October 24th I was late in sending them I had so much going on, they were due back the 5th December and I didn't send them until the 1st (I wrote a cover letter to say it was Christmas holidays season an also postal strikes so they may arrive late) however when I rang for a update recently they said they didnt scan onto there system until 27th Jan and it won't be until end of April/ beginning of may , devastated as it has been so long, however luckily they said if awarded it will be from when I rang due to special rules regarding strike's and the fact it was signed before the 5th December xxx

Patientlywaitingx2 · 06/03/2023 19:20

Not sure ive ive replied to you i rang up last week she said nothing was happening, so rang up before and she said its now with a case manager x

lawraahh32 · 07/03/2023 09:16

Still not heard anything :(

chuggins · 07/03/2023 09:21

Does anyone know the process of what happens when you get a decision? Is it done through txt/letter? My scan date 13/01/23 and when I phoned I was told 13 weeks to be assigned to a case worker. The DLa is for my little boy and its making me anxious everyday 🙈

lixx · 07/03/2023 09:41

They usually send a letter and or a text. Some people have said they received calls. Im still waiting on a decision so not entirely sure

Patientlywaitingx2 · 07/03/2023 10:09

My scan dates 19th dec and its with a decision maker. I didnt even ask how long they had had it for. I forgot. 🤣
