Thankyou, do you know why they would call? It’s been 14 weeks today. I missed the call and obviously can’t call back at all as it’s a private number. Is a call normally a good sign? Thanks

@Snickerdoodles19 my 16 week is end of April my claim ends 31st March 😫 it’s so stressful .. I did send my claim forms in the post on the 9th December but because of strikes and Xmas they didn’t get scanned on till 4th Jan! Ah gosh xx

my scan date was 24/11/2022..
I called up today and my new claim is with the DM.. Does anyone know how long roughly it took to hear something after the claim was with the DM.. I did call on Monday morning and it wasnt with the DM then so its only been with them in the last 2/3 days.

@Brown2010 i don’t think they’d let it go over by that much, surely they know when claims are due to end and when they have to be looked at by, I’ve seen a couple of people who haven’t had their renewals looked at until a couple of days before 😬😬😬

With my previous sons claim it was only with the DM for one day, both times, so can be really quick but if they decide to contact people (eg school or doctor) it can take longer. Good luck 🤞🏻 x

I'm at 8-9 backpay yesterday (MRC) when does the award letter usually arrive? Also my son turns 5 in June, do I have to apply for mobility element using same form and submit all the same evidence again. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

@lawraahh32 My anxiety has been soo bad too but i was seeing everyone calling so i thought you know what im giving them a call and have called up every week for the past month 😂 something just told me to call again today though so glad i did now the wait will be over soon xx

Does anyone know how long it takes a dm from universal credit to decide on back pay of disability element please ?

My son got awarded in the Dec and was turning 5 in the April, so on the letter they already calculated he would be due mobility from the April when he turned 5, so it could say so on your letter already 🤞🏻
The letter was here within a week xx

Oh I no it's awful, I've been trying to forget about it this time, but it's still been on my mind every day and been checking this. First time round I was a wreck, it means so much to families to be able to get the extra help they need and deserve xx

How cums under 5 can't get mobility but online say age three can get mobility..

I asked for disability element to be back dated a few days ago on my journal and had no reply. New to all this so I’m just following the threads and going with it x

How does the disability element work please x

Age 5 for low rate mobility, age 3 for high rate xx

I’m in the same boat, I’ve not heard anything back at all from UC

Mine was sent over to a decision maker but there isn’t a time scale on when a decision will be made just updated on the journal was just wondering if anyone else new
