Hi I've been watching this thread for a few weeks and thought I'd join the wait and share my dates, My renewal ends on the 28th april I posted my renewal on the 2nd February and it was received on the 3rd feb (I also called them to make sure they received it ok) reading all you lovely peoples post really helps x

We all need good news for our kids but this stress i DNT even slep think bout it hoping i will find out in 1 half weeks what's going on .my scan date is 28

I managed to post all my evidence 1st class recorded today, Scan date 28/11. Just logged into my account and I've received a payment from dwp dla, not sure of the rate but possibly mrc! Can't believe it, I was ready for a fight for my ds and they've awarded him without sending evidence with the claim form. So so relieved....

Hey all, my date is getting closer (8/12) I’ve just received my sons first one plan as senco has been “watching him” since October, I didn’t have any other evidence to send in to dla as long waiting lists. I’ve been through this before with another child but had lots of reports.
I don’t know whether to send the one plan (I wasn’t involved in its creation, I know I’m supposed to have been) it’s not entirely correct in my opinion.
but it does state on there he still wears pull ups (which isn’t correct, he wears nappies, he can’t do his own clothing and will not attempt the toilet, so pull ups to me makes it sound like he could) but it does state that he won’t allow anyone in school to change him so I have to be called in to school every day, which is true.
I don’t know whether to send it now, or wait and see if they decline and use it for MR, and use that time to get school to reword it.
what would you do? Xx

How long does backdate take? Still not had it yet

@Als2017 we was awarded monday this week and just received back payment today, my tax credits back payment is due tomorrow x

@Dani006 I'd definitely send it in. Maybe give them a call to check it's not with the DM and say you want to provide some information

Yes I think I am going to do this, it’s been on my mind all night, it’s amazing how much waiting for a claim can affect you. I can be called in to the school at any time, either one or two times a day so all the petrol costs add up, have to drop everything in my day and go, I can’t have a job right now as there isn’t anyone else so it would help so much if he’s awarded something x

@Brown2010 ive just phoned them up, it hasn’t even been allocated to a dm yet, apparently on their system they aren’t looking at renewals until the 16 week mark.
mines 16 weeks tomorrow I’m really peed off now x

@Snickerdoodles19 omg what an absolute joke! How can it be 16 week mark I’ll be waiting ages 😭 so they will be a gap in payments?

@Brown2010 the lady on the phone said it should be done before the award ends and to phone back this time next week, I’m going to phone again on Tuesday and see what’s happening then it’s a week until it ends. 🙄🙄🙄
