Ours has been with a decision maker since the weekend. Scan 22/11. I feel sick with nervous, it’s awful!! 😆 Don’t know how all you ladies have coped all these weeks waiting, I feel like I can’t breathe for nerves lol

Our last claim was awarded until the day before my sons 5th birthday too. 17/01 ours was due to run out, they renewed his claim HRC on 05/01 and added LRM to start from his 5th birthday ☺️ his last award was only 2 years but this time it’s been renewed until 2031 x

Thank you for the comment, so when ours is due to run out do I send in the renewal paperwork and include mobility section? Then if they award mobility they can set it to start a few weeks later after the 5th birthday? Sorry I’m so confused by it.

Moodymarg · 28/02/2023 12:24

Hi ive been a silent follower for a few weeks now.
Ive finally got the courage up to ring the DLA yesterday (mon 27/2) to see where my sons case is on the list as were now at 15wks+4days and i had a lovely man who was very helpful, i said i have got extra info to send in, well today (tues 28/2) i recieved a phone call off the DWP it was the DM who is on my sons case and she said for me to send in today the extra info she did say that should be sufficient so im praying it gets accepted.
He has pre-syncope + syncope convulsions (goes dizzy & then faints and can have a seizure with it)
I have also put a referal in for ADHD & ASD.
School are a waste of time and are doing nothing about any of it he had a bad faint episode 3wks ago at school and he was left on his own in the yard
Well i was fuming and went crazy with the school.
I am looking to move him school but is a nightmare with him being in year 8.
Xx

Phoned for forms in Jan, posted them back 10/2 but they haven’t received them so they think they are ‘lost’
Royal Mail won’t do eff all about it. I’m absolutely gutted purely because of the personal info on the form and hospital/specialist letters we’ve sent off 😫
I had no idea they should be sent recorded delivery either what an idiot 😳

Judesmommy34 · 28/02/2023 14:02

Hope this is ok but Can i just ask i was awarded today middle rate care for 11 years (scan date 22/11 westmidlands) does anyone know when ill get the backdate payment?
