Thought it was time for a new thread :)

I am also 22/11 down in worcestershire, i phoned 2 days ago and im being told 15 weeks... It seems from this thresd most people up north are being awarded quicker

I’m down south and we were awarded at just over 13 weeks. I guess lots of things can make a difference to the timing of an award. Some claims may have more clear cut decisions, others may need more consideration. It sounds like they are working towards mid-end Nov. Good luck

@Lodol I wrote four additional pages detailing the extra care my son needs and I also sent in a nursery report, a report from his speech and language therapist and a report made from the paediatrician detailing what happened when we visited and how he’s now referred for an autism assessment.

A few people on the facebook group have called this morning with dates 21st and 22nd and their claims have been with DM since yesterday x

Does anyone know how long it takes to get scanned after they've received it in the post? X

Ive had it when the forms were on the system the same day as been received, other times Ive waited 2 weeks for them to be scanned in. I think it just depends how busy the are xx

It all depends where your claims get sent to and what city… I’m on 15 weeks still no decision 🤷‍♀️ called yesterday to say it will be in overtime folder for the weekend grrrr just long process

It's gone to Wolverhampton lovely I ended up paying for guaranteed next day because my post is really shocking down here currently and I didn't get my original form I called up for at the beginning of jan so they sent a new one out 2 weeks later didn't wanna risk it getting lost! X

She just means she sent her form to the wolverhampton address, once its scanned on the system its sent to different areas over the country depending on where you live x

Oh I didn't know that are there offices all over the country then? I thought it was all done in one place shows how much I know 🤣

Well they all talk so much crap! I rang yesterday they said it’s going to the overtime file this weekend.
rang today they said there on beginning of November and I have weeks to wait 🤣🤣🤣

I’ll call them this afternoon thankyou I tried not long ago waited 40 mins and they cut me off 🤦‍♀️xx

I have been obsessively following this post from the start and totally understand everyone's feelings lol...
My scan date was 21/11/22. My AD has no diagnosis as yet and I sent in the form and a really detailed answer to each question.
I am south Kent and haven't a clue what office dealt with it. My AD was awarded higher rate care, and lower mobility! I am still in shock as I convinced myself it would be declined! I hope that you all get what your children deserve x

My son hasn't got a diagnosis yet either and I'm actually worried I've written far too much so worried we'll get declined. That's amazing news for I'm really pleased for you xx

Ahh great news @Bettybell. I’m East Kent and scan date 23/11 so you give me hope!

I’m getting abit nervous now. Just called them now (scan date 22/11/22) and he asked what evidence I sent in. I explained I had the school fill in their part explaining how she is at school and what help she requires from them, and that i had attached the letter sent to us from the hospital regarding her diagnosis. He asked if it was the full report, but all we’d been sent from the hospital was a letter that stated they classed her as having significant difficulties across the board. They didn’t go into great detail. He seemed to think this wasn’t enough?? Has anyone else received a more indepth diagnosis letter??

Hi everyone. Phoned today to see if they've received the extra info I sent. They confirmed it has been scanned on - I sent it to the freepost address on 13/02/23. I was told new claims are now taking 15-17 weeks. Our scan date is 20/01/23 x

Her diagnosis is autism by the way.

Hey everyone, I’ve been popping in and out since thread 6 to keep an eye on dates and it’s getting closer so thought I’d say hello.
I’ve been through this process before with another child. That one consumed my life, I’m trying hard not to let this one.
my date is 8/12, I’ve had letters and text messages telling me it’s still waiting. I never had that last time, no contact at all last time, it’s mad how it varies so much xx
