Thats exactly what they told me last friday but it went to the DM on the saturday and decision was tuesday! My scan date was a day after yours xx

@Leannepap It might be worth starting your PIP application, they are taking around 5/6 months for new claims, give them a call and see if its worth applying now so your payments continue. Once your child turns 16 the DLA payments stop xx

She said the award for dla is until day before her 17th birthday and will continue to be paid until then. And ring pip 3 weeks after her 16th birthday to start application x

He’s very long hahahaha I was starting to think they had forgotten us

JJS1984 · 23/02/2023 11:00

Does anybody know how the tax credits work with the disabled element does it get back dated or do you just start receiving it from the day you update it with them ?

FamilfuelebyADHD · 23/02/2023 11:15

@Leannepap my daughter was getting DLA LRC and LRM and a month before her 16th birthday we got the letter to apply for pip and if you do that before their birthday they will continue getting DLA until pip decide. My daughter was 16 in November and we are still waiting and still getting her DLA. Hope this helps x

Als2017 · 23/02/2023 11:24

I rang yesterday they told me hopefully will go this week to dm.
mine is 18/11 this is taking forverrrrrrr

AdhdMumOf3 · 23/02/2023 11:49

Another update.. For anyone who's read before and has seen my school and senco troubles, I went above them all and had a meeting yesterday with the regional director. This morning the senco couldn't have been nicer, I think she's been told off for being a bitch haha. She's going to ring dla today and explain everything they have in place at school and all my sons struggles but the big shock came when she finally said HER and the Ed psych think my son is autistic.. Such a big behaviour change since Monday when she told me it's a goodwill gesture to speak to dla and she couldn't do it for me, hopefully I will have a decision soon xx

AdhdMumOf3 · 23/02/2023 11:50

@JJS1984 they back date to the award date xx

Als2017 · 23/02/2023 11:57

I rang back today just to see and they said it’s in a holding que. So weird so many my stage is awarded

Snickerdoodles19 · 23/02/2023 11:57

@AdhdMumOf3 fantastic news! Just shows you the turn around when official complaints are mentioned

Apparently they processed the first payment on Friday and it was in my bank on Tuesday.

VickieC86 · 23/02/2023 14:19

Ok thank you hopefully comes before Tuesday as my daughters birthday want to give her the best day she has a lot of melt downs mood swings due to asd

Als2017 · 23/02/2023 15:51

If awarded today will be Tuesday/ Wednesday

Sunflower0701 · 23/02/2023 16:06

Scan date 28/11
Just tried to phone for the first time for an update (52 minutes) and had to hang up! I need to send in my evidence I've finally received but no clue how to do this

tourettesadhdmum · 23/02/2023 16:36

i’ve just called because if i’m honest i’m getting really impatient now and she didn’t even ask for a reference or name before saying you’ll need to wait 15 weeks then proceeded to say if i’ve not heard anything in 4 weeks call them and they’ll escalate it! baring in mind i’m going into my 14th week so how can she say it takes 15 weeks 1 minute and then say 4 weeks on top of the 14 we’ve already waited the next 🙄
