@Unicorn1905 I am heading into my 15th week waiting. Renewal. Still not heard anything.

@Pollyley i think I read somewhere that they are doing renewals the week before the old claim is due to end it something, have you called for an update?

I called around ten days ago and was told it hadn't been looked at yet. I'm honestly too scared to call again x

Iv just had a text to say my daughter qualifies for Dla, 14 weeks from posting the forms back.

I have just received my child's amendment support hours letter at school, would you send this as additional evidence?

Hey lovely's 26th of July scan date, just been awarded :)

Wow scan date of 26th July. They must be doing them in no order then? Hoping not too long now as mine is 11th July

@kateof2 congratulations mines 27th what evidence did you send if you don’t mind me asking x

I sent in his IEP a statement from the school, proof of his melatonin and a letter from his paediatrician

I've just called, been told it will be 14 weeks from the date received (11th July) so 1 more week to go...They said it will take a week with the DM. It's a first-time application...just hope we get good news after all this time!

I’ve just got off the phone to them and the guy said they are working up to claims of 11th July. My scan date is the 19th so hopefully won’t be much longer.

My daughter has been awarded HRC and LRM, does anybody no how the child element works when your not on universal? Do they pay it via tax credits?

That’s great news @kateof2 glad you got good news!! all I’ve sent in is iep and proof of sleeping prescription too. You’ve given me hope! Can I ask what rates you got

@Unicorn1905 you contact tax credits and it’s backdated for you. It’s a lot more simple than the UC way x

New claim, scan date 17th Aug.

Got a letter this morning and my heart started sinking when I saw "We are very sorry...", but thankfully it was just a letter to apologise for the delay.

I'm planning to wait until 1st December to call if I haven't heard anything, it'll be 15 weeks at that point.

Hiya all. What's the address again to send in extra evidence? Will send it special delivery but is it the address at the top of the letters advising us of the scan date?

@Cass29 i rang them earlier they said it was being allocated to a decision maker so fingers crossed it won't be to long now x

@Mkd1322 thanks for the update 😀 i gave them a call last week because i never got a letter saying received so never knew my scan date or anything and she said it was 16th of june and hasnt been looked at yet it will probably be another few weeks and that was it x

@Cass29 I'm only a few days before you so hopefully it wont be much longer for you. Don't no why I'm so anxious as i know deep down they will probably decline it again as they did a few years ago plus got his renewal next year after a 6 year reward. X
