Hi everyone mine is a new claim with scan date of 2nd July I rang on Friday as it was a day off 14 weeks and was told it hadn’t even been looked at yet and to give it another 2 weeks , as it would hopefully be looked at by then but then the next morning (yesterday) I had a text saying my child qualifies for dla so even if you ring your not necessarily given the right information, Fingers crossed for everyone that’s waiting

Hi will I still get a text to say my child doesn't qualify ? Or is it only successful claims receiving text messages?

I will be on to week 17 this week but mines a change of circumstances so they did say they usually take up to 20 weeks i have been calm up until week 15 and now panic has set in the longer ive waited . But 2 friends applied new claims and 1 got her award in 10 weeks and the other took 14 so think its hit and miss time frames.

Any renewal awards please update if you hear. Hopefully people get some answers today. X

anyone been blessed with good news this morning? My scan date was 5th July and I’ve still not heard anything 😩 I’m starting to really panic now!!

hi mines the 4th not heard anything I called Thursday was with dm tempted to call but don't want to hear bad news!

@Cee96 i’ve just got off the phone, they pretty much answered straight away. Apparently it’s with DM now and I have to wait another 2-3 weeks 😩😩

I wouldn't go off that to be honest someone said above that it was with the decision maker still and then had a text the next day best of luck to you .. not sure if to call don't really want bad news this early on a Monday morning

Anyone know what scan dates they are working this week?

I’ve had a decision from 5th July.

I have a scan date on the 5th July and spoke to someone this morning, it's still with the DM and has been since Thursday. I'm down for a text so I'm hoping to get one soon. Still worried DD will get a no!

I phoned them up around ten days ago and was advised it will be the day before It ends i should be notified with the award or not. His current award ends end of this month. Honestly the wait is causing me to struggle to sleep. I can't tell you how worried I am

I think I chucked out my letter with the scan date on, how many weeks after posting is the scan date roughly please?

Hi All, check my bank statment today and found out that I got money from the DWP. Sent my son's claim 15th July, scan date was 26th July, received money on 6th October. Haven't received a text or letter yet. It was a new claim, all done in 10 weeks.

Hey so I've just had a call from the decision maker asking some follow up questions on my sons night time needs, she said I should have a decision in the next 2 weeks. Any idea why the decision maker would call me personally? Feeling extra anxious now haha

My scan date was 13th june although sent it beginning of may. Its a change of circumstance tempted to call today. Has anyone with change of circumstances heard anything with a scan date of june? X

Iv just got off the phone, only a 20 minute wait to get through, I posted the forms 1st July! Unsure on my scan date but the lady told me it was passed to the decision maker on Friday so fingers crossed we will hear soon.
