You can report a change of circumstances from you UC dashboard. If you click on the 'Children living with you', you can add the information there that they are now in receipt of DLA.

Hi i just rang for my son i got awarded am sooo happy took 14 weeks for it what do i have to do now

Thanks everyone. @harjinder01 my scan date is 28th June. @Shellbel10 I sent EHCP, Speech and Language report and psychologist report. I didn't have a diagnosis when I sent it off but she got officially diagnosed in July. Autism.

Just spoken to them and they are working on the 1st July. My scan date is 25th July so hopefully not too long left to wait now!

Congratulations.. What rates did you receive?
I ring them and was told still no decision.

I haven't had anything either :) mine was Tuesday also.

Can the payments go into your bank at anytime or just morning?

I think it will be in bank tomorrow Claire it depends what bank you are with mine is NatWest and will goin in at 2 in morning

I have 2 questions. How long is it usually with a decision maker and my scan date is 5th august, by you experience how long am i looking at

I think new claims are around 13 to 14 weeks . Renewals up until they are nearly running out and change of circumstances well mines been 16 weeks now feels like forever 🤣

I got a sms at 16:50 to say we have decided your child qualifies. Which is a big relief but would be much better if they put the rate in the sms! Atleast then could update UC. Scan date 1st July. Hope you all hear very soon! Xx

Glad the wait is over for you. If you want to know soon instead of waiting for letter give them a call they will tell what the award is x

@Chay123 so pleased for you. Was yours a first time claim award or a renewal? As mine was dated before yours so I'm stressing over how my childs still isn't done yet.

Thank you lovelies. Hope yours are successful, very soon. It was a new claim. I do suspect though, that it may be on area/countries, as I didn’t ask but I suspect the later July ones above are from wales/Ireland/Scotland. Only as I know one of them was as they said it xx

I'm same fingers, toes, crossed it's tomorrow. I'll not sleep all weekend if no decision is made tomorrow 😖😖 these 3 days have worn me down already.

@Db28 I feel exactly the same so anxious and worried and mine isn't yet with the DM. (From what she said on the phone earlier on in the week). Yours is a renewal also? When does it end?
