When it is with the DM, do they advise you how much longer you can expect to wait ?

Hi my scan date is 30june it's with decided maker the hoping this week we I'll get txts or letter

@harjinder01 thanks for advising. I'm going to wait to till Fri I think before I phone.

Mine is 28th June also still waiting I thought it was 14 weeks Tomoz as I Google the amount of weeks

This week am wait Thursday it's will be 14 weeks i have been waiting let's cross 🤞 for each other ...

@Oilytoe90 thankyou do you know how long it takes back pay to go in for dla have u had any news from uc about ur care element iv left a note in my journal am I better off ringing them

Hiya. Dla backdate usually clears in 3 days, depends which bank you're with. With uc I just changed circstances on my journal then someone rang me to confirm and sent everything to be authorised buy not got money yet. If you're wanting to get the change of circumstance loan I would ring much quicker x

My scan date was aug so I have got a few more weeks yet. The only evidence I had which I sent in was ieps and copy of sleep medication prescription.. I’m scared this is not enough evidence to be awarded.

I'm phoning, I just need to ease my worries somehow. The phone-line is extremely busy though, been waiting for 25mins so far.

So I was advised 1 day before the current award runs out they should have reached a decision. So I have the remainder of Oct to wait. My child's hasn't yet been looked at. So it's not really put My mind at ease at all.
An anxious time but hopefully we will know by the end of the month.

Recieved letter from DLA it was thin so panicked!!! Opened it and just saw the word sorry so panicked again. All it says is they are taking longer than usual but i wont lose any money as it would be backdated. Ffs

I had the same letter a few weeks ago. I’m guessing I still have a couple weeks to wait based on what others have been told. Scan date was 5th July and by sounds of it still not on to July yet. Feels like forever waiting 😟

I just got off the phone to them. My scan date was 28th June. Lovely helpful man confirmed what PP said: applications up to 1st July are now with case managers. He said decision should be made this week sometime and to call them back on Friday if I haven't heard anything.

@IfCanCanICan gosh I wonder why I was told something so different. My scan date June 30th I've been told today essentially another 4 weeks

@Pollyley mine has been with the DM for 2 weeks, called today and still with them!

Rang today for an update and they said my son was not awarded it again so have to so this all over again 😭 the stress and anxiety they cause is unreal.

No the girl Told me on the phone today that he was not awarded it when I rang for an update so I have to wait and see what the letter says with the reasons. I rang and asked for a mr and told then I am baffled as to why he was turned down again when all the evidence to back his claim up is there in front of them 😭 he has been diagnosed with global development delay, learning difficulties is non verbal and is waiting on asd assessment, I'm thinking maybe it's to do with his age because all his reports show that he is not like a normal 3 year old child, he will be 3 in December. So stressful and the anxiety I have over it is a joke 😭

@Shellbel10 i sent a lot in. It’s a mr so I sent a lot! All drs and school evaluations, pathway and diagnosis stuff!
