DLA Wait times 2022 Part 4

Thought I'd continue the thread as it had reached its limit.

My application will be awhile before any response but scanned 5 July and nothing yet.

@Hayhoarematthews yeah last week said with mine been a change of circumstances it can be up to 20 weeks x

Oh well I’m on week 13 today let’s see how much longer to wait I hope some of us get answers this week

Hi guys , my sons form was scanned 18th July and still heard nothing , it’s been about 13 weeks but dread ringing to be sold ring back at a later date

Is there anyone else scanned 18 July? And has a update x

Mine is 30th of june and was told yesterday that my case is with case manager.

I'm 25th July so after you will be keeping an eye on when you get yours 🤣

I’m 19th July so hopefully we will both hear something at a similar time! I will let you know if I hear anything. The person I spoke to at the beginning of the week said it shouldn’t be much longer and to give a call next week so that’s what I’m going to do! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 X

My sons scan date is 12th July and I rang them on Tuesday and it is with dm has been for a little while the man said. I think I will call them again tomorrow

No it’s not just you! It’s worrying to think that after this long tedious wait they don’t understand in what you are trying to explain on a piece of paper even though you have evidence and then to be told no and have to go through the process of a MR just to try and prove what your child needs ect x

Nope your not the only ones I am the same especially as I'm not sure with my daughter she's 9 with bladder and bowel incontinence she's on 3 lots of meds twice a day I was told by her bladder and bowel nurse to apply but have read somethings which say no but I could be up 2-3 times in a night some nights showering her

I'm so close now and worrying so much over it, i just don't know if I have the fight in me to MR when they say no 🥺

I’ve always been told no news is normally good news so I am literally clinging onto that 😂 it’s the only way I seem to be getting through this last stretch and being on here to speak to all of you which makes me feel a bit better! I hope all our babies get what they deserve!

I'm just about to enter week 12, the guy I spoke to said up to 13 weeks to reach decision maker then said so your looking up to a month for a decision to

DD has been awarded HRM and HRC backdated to 21 June 22! Called this afternoon, they made the decision today! So happy and relieved, hope everyone else gets good news too!

No nothing yet I rang the other day and they said I should have a decision by end of next week but not counting my chickens xx
