How much did you weigh at birth? And how much did your first baby weigh?

Me: 7 lbs 1 oz; dd: 8 lbs 1 oz

Me 6lb 13oz (5 days late); DD 6lb 9.5oz (9 days early). Reckon she'd have been spot on if also late!!

me: 9lb 4oz
ds1: 9lb 1oz
ds2: 9lb 5oz

me:5lb 13oz at 38 weeks
DS1 5lb 2oz at 35+5 weeks

Me - 9lbs 12 (I think) at 42+4 (according to my mum)

DD1 - 5lbs 11! (at 41+3)

(DH was a 6lb baby though, I think there may be a link there)

i weighed 7lbs, 12 oz.

dd1 was 7lbs., 1 oz.

dd2 was 6lbs., 9oz.

i was 9lb 8oz
ds was 7lb 3oz at 42 +4

I was 9lb 6 (and brother and sister were well over 9 lbs too)
DD was 9lb 14, DS was 10lb 5

my mother was 10lbs at birth and all her siblings were around that weight too.
clearly we have large babies in our family...

DH was a tiddler of 6 lbs something

I was 8lb 2 oz I think (over 8lb I know) and younger brother and sister were over 8lb - all late, I believe I was 18 days late. So I was quite surprised to find ds was only 7 lb 7 oz - he was late as well.

DH was 8lb 7oz i think and was at least 3 weeks overdue.

I was a week early (possibly two)

DD was two weeks over
DS was 5 days early.

The only defining factor was that my mum smoked in pg and I didnt.

He was more than a kilo heavier than me

DP was I think similar, maybe a bit smaller.

DS was 8lb 4

me : a 6 week prem twin, weighed 3 lb 10 oz

I'm rather terrified as I was 5lb, my husband was 7lb and we are both small (Pre pregnancy I was a 8 stone size 8 and my husband is only about 10 stone)but we are due to have a giant next week. Midwife keeps mentioning 'at least 9lb' and when she plots the size of my uterus on the line graph I'm starting to head away from the upper line.

Aaaaaargh - how the hell have we managed to make a giant baby?

gillaz- try not to worry too much - they can get those estimated birthweights surprisingly wrong. My third child was supposed to be an IUGR 5 lber according to all the medical personnel I saw during her over-managed gestation- she came out as I'd expected at 7lb 9 oz. (consultant said 6 lb a week before she was born, I said between 7.5 and 8 lbs...)

DD1 8lb 38 weeks elective c -section
DS3 8lb 38 weeks elective c-section

I was 7lbs something AFAIK and born a couple of weeks early; no more than 7.5lbs I don't think.

DD was 6lb 15oz and born 2 weeks overdue.
