Feels like something is coming out?

I have no idea how to even describe it lol but I was having pressure and pain last night and the feeling that something is coming out of my vagina? Still feeling it now, especially when on the birthing ball! Like maybe a similar feeling to when you’re about have a big bit of blood come out when you’re on your period? Like something I could take out and it would be a soft ball of something😂 I don’t know😂 Nothing has actually come out yet, but just wondered if anyone has experienced anything like this lol. Never felt that before, but been having the pressure and pain in my lower pelvis, bum, and back pain, for a few days. I’m 37 weeks today. Baby has been engaged since about 34 weeks I think, at least. Thanks ladies!

Every time I see the number of replies has changed, I get all excited 🤣. No luck this time either.

I bet it's going to be really quick once things do kick off.

namechangin · 03/03/2020 19:33

@kikibo same here!! I'm checking every time I see there's more replies with everything crossed hoping 😂

Sissymate2 · 04/03/2020 03:04

Yoohoo, Mollie? Hurry along little one. @yelyahyoung
Thank you for taking us along on your sloooooow labour journey. My DD was 8 days late and she was shrivelled up like a little old lady...or like I'd left her in the bath too long.🤣 She was not even engaged the day before her birth. She liked it in there!

yelyahyoung · 04/03/2020 21:35

Lol, thanks for hanging in there with me🤣🤣

Soooo update! Grin I lost a biggg chunk of mucus plug this morning, then it kept on coming throughout the day. Now I’ve just had what I think is bloody show!! And contractions that are actually HURTING lol. Let’s hope they go somewhere?! The sudden realisation that it could be actually happening now is making me a little nervous though... lol

Exciting news! Hope things progress quickly for you and you will have a healthy baby in your arms before you know it!

ChipsyChopsy · 04/03/2020 22:51

Fingers crossed for you that this is it and that your birth is straightforward. I think you've earned it!

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 04/03/2020 23:11

Yay!! Hope this is it for you, fingers crossed!

kikibo · 04/03/2020 23:50

I'm crossing everything.

I know the feeling.

With my first, I was 5 days over when my ob decided he'd had enough, so he did what I think was a sweep. Same night, I got up for a pee and saw I'd started spotting and lost lots of mucus. Euphoria was the word.

yelyahyoung · 05/03/2020 00:28

Thanks everyone! I am in actual labour! It really EFFING hurts lol.

It’s been 3 hours since I started timing my contractions. They were about 5 mins apart, now are around 3 mins apart. Hospital doesn’t want me in yet. So ‘paracetamol and a bath’ it is... lol!

yelyahyoung · 05/03/2020 15:52

To everyone who has been waiting for this as much as I have!!
Meet our Molly, born this morning at 11:51am and weighing in at 8lb 3oz. After a 14 hour natural labour, 6 hours spent at home, and I managed with just a bit of gas and air here and there. No tears, just a couple of grazes which didn’t need stitching. No interventions and placenta also came naturally fairly quickly. The birth really couldn’t have gone any better. DP was absolutely amazing. And baby is latching on ok so far, so fingers crossed!
We are SO happy ❤️ thank you everyone for all your support and concern! Xxx
