Hello folks,

40+12 today. Third pregnancy but first baby. We don’t know the gender. Five years in the making with iui, icsi, ivf and finally donated eggs and sperm. Looooong story.

Was all set for home birth despite being 41 and having GD but my very comfy baby is not interested in being evicted.

I was ok waiting- it’s been an easy pregnancy but we just don’t want to put baby at any risk. So here we are. Told to come in at 8am. 11am tried a sweep but I am sealed like an Egyptian tomb. Just back from curry and walk and waiting for pessary. Join me for the fun!??!

@Blackbear19 thank you You're totally right and last night did feel like Christmas eve as a kid to be fair! I'm being extra nice to myself and enjoying relaxing in the hospital, child free, before they come to get me
