With my 2 DD's I took castor oil so pretty much suer it was going to happen soon after. This timne round there will be no castor oil, that is unless they say they'll induce me then I'll intervene. So anyway, hopefully this tiem it'll be a little more unexpected. Made me wonder where and when it might happen.

With DD1 it was 10.50pm on a Sunday evening and I was watching a rubbish film with DP - 'Cat's and Dogs'. Why on earth was that our choice of film that night????

With DD2 I was snoozing in bed, Sunday eve / Monday morning, about 2am ish.

Went into instant contractions, no slow build, waters didn't break with DD1 and they broke when I got up out of bed with DD2.

How about you?

I had just got into bed.

I had woken a few times in the night with niggly pains. Got up at 7am and was eating breakfast and had an almighty pain and I thought that was the start of it.

Three days with contractions every 10 minutes and zero sleep later and still only 2-3cm. So technically I never actually got started although it bloody well felt like it had at the time.

DS was OP and ended up being an emergency C-section due to massive increase in heart rate (300bpm).

I've got six weeks to go this time, hoping for a VBAC and keeping everything crossed to get to more than 3cm in three days this time.
