From start to finish, 11 hours, waters broke at 6am, but unfortunately also lots of blood so rushed to hospital in ambulance, first contraction in ambulance at about 6.45am, and dd arrived at a few minutes to 5 in the afternoon. Turns out the blood was just to keep us on our toes - everything went well. I'd really psyched myself up for nightmare labour, so was actually pleaseantly surprised by how it all went - and the epidural - OMG!! I loved the epidural!! I knew it was effective pain relief, but didn't realise it would actually get rid of all the pain!

I would do it again, but not for a while - to be honest the pregnancy was the worst bit for me - just hated all the nausea, wind, discomfort etc. blimey - I sound like a real prima donna, don't I?!!
