@SwanShaped

Well this has all got quite heated. One poster seems to be taking it all very personally. Despite the fact that no one has criticised any parents. Just the freedom formula itself. Not the parents who choose to buy the programme. It’s also still very unclear what it is. It’s too complicated, you have to try it! Same old message as the posters at the beginning of the thread. I hope the person who is collating all the info does a good job of passing that to the relevant organisation.
Same person that on the 30th May was implying that by discussing YCFF on this thread we would cause teen suicides. On the same day (30th) this person was "looking to sign up", (despite at this point already taking any criticism of YCFF personally. Then yesterday (12th June) declaring they'd arrived at the 2 week mark and had seen amazing results. Many would love to know what this entails as surely if true this would encourage others to sign up if genuine, but alas it remains shrouded in mystery. I'm quite glad they used the pressure sell on me as this was a red flag. If I hadn't have subsequently seen this thread I might have been £5.5k down! 😬

We cant also be too trusting some of these posts could be moles and using this platform to convince you to engage with the programme. Just a thought. This world we live cant be trustedGrin

GoodButNaughty · 14/06/2021 21:45

One of my PM contacts kindly shared this with me as I’d not seen it before:

m.youtube.com/watch?v=uAJSM8JYxkk

Did anyone ever access the free resources Sam mentions?

In other news - there are some responses to my friends actions coming in and I’ll be able to report in more detail tomorrow after a call with her.

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 10:30

@GoodButNaughty I've been getting popups on FB to join YCFF webinars. Today I have a popup for exactly the same webinar, but this time under the guise of 'Kids Anxiety Disorder Solutions' (kidsanxietydisorders.com). The hosts are two nameless people, not Sam. Claiming to cure anxiety in 8weeks.
The KADS FB page seems to have appeared June 13th.
I may have got my wires crossed or YCFF are morphing/going underground?

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 10:33

Just to add - they may not be linked to YCFF, and I may have imagined it!

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 10:42

The public YCFF page where interested folks would post and share with others seems to have gone. There is public page with TP reviews posted. Last post June 10th.
Hope you're all well btw x

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 10:42

Sorry - June 12th, not 10th

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 10:47

I am unable to find a website for kidsanxietydisorders.com

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 10:55

I can't relocate the FB page now! Although, there is a page called 'kids anxiety solutions' which seems to be unrelated.

Will let you know if the webinar popup appears again - under a new, new name!

GoodButNaughty · 15/06/2021 11:06

It’s the same webinar with Sam hosting as I signed up and watched it this morning. Here’s the link:

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 11:07

Last one - for now!

While looking around, I can across this:
thestillmethod.co.uk/index.php/parents-teachers/?fbclid=IwAR1TKlOGeaPkBUdoaAweaxjFXzSckEz4sxkOdR9tvC0GkHG7NT39mG4VsIw

It looks a fair bit more genuine? In case anyone wants to take a closer look.

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 11:08

Alternative link with some background:

Psuedoshoes · 15/06/2021 12:28

Thanks for the link double - I think I'll book onto a webinar. If it's no good then at least it's only £18 spent Grin

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 12:39

@Psuedoshoes :) I intend to give it a closer look!

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 12:42

@GoodButNaughty My spidey sense didn't let me down then!

GoodButNaughty · 15/06/2021 13:20

Double - your spidey sense is spot on! As soon as I saw it I wondered too. I actually have been PMd some info regarding the new website. It appears that the Facebook Ad for YCFF that was anonymously reported to FB and the ASA (I can neither speculate or deny that it might’ve been my therapist friend) has been pulled for making false claims and so they’ve created a new page, given the webinar a new ‘face’ and created an identical landing page.

As I mentioned, I’ve got a catch up with my therapist friend this afternoon for an update from her on actions. By all accounts it’s HUGE! Sorry to ‘drip feed’ but I don’t want to stick my neck out without her explicit say so.

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 13:30

@GoodButNaughty It says everything about an 'enterprise' if they need to be so clandestine.
No, please don't stick your neck out in the slightest - but keep on with the excellent work, protecting people at their most vulnerable.

JungleMum40 · 15/06/2021 13:42

@DoubleTweenQueen
@GoodButNaughty

Protecting people, the only thing you are doing is stopping people from seeking actual help, I’m so glad I signed up after reading these comments, I have managed to make my own outcome on it and so far I am stunned by the help we have received and the constant support, that you don’t get from anywhere else. Your friend is in the wrong job is she is trying to stop people from accessing help from different sources, if that were me I would be trying anything to help my DD get better, I am off to have my other baby in September. This is all I wanted to say. I am very happy with my choices and hope you all will find some peace with yourselves.

GoodButNaughty · 15/06/2021 13:56

And jungle is back again... I’m sorry Jungle but nothing you post has any credibility for me particularly after you blatantly lied about me ‘trying to silence you’...

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 13:57

@JungleMum40

No appropriate qualifications

No membership or affiliations with any professional bodies

No publications - apparently the owner has been practicing over 10+ years?

No mention anywhere but their own website and their own TP page - where they have categorised themselves as 'Psychneurological Specialized Clinics' - made that category up just for themselves!

Advertising on FB in a clandestine way, using targeted popups and aliases

= zero credibility
= minimum presence or transparency in this area
= maximum disquiet & distrust

Psuedoshoes · 15/06/2021 13:58

I agree with double - nice one good and best of luck Smile

JungleMum40 · 15/06/2021 14:06

@GoodButNaughty I can’t post when and wherever I want! Thank you. What I have just said is most truthful.

@DoubleTweenQueen I realise now that you won’t stop, First off their are many people on this post who have spoke to you in particular about their experiences etc me included in that. They have the relevant Qualifications to do this, as I told you my fiends have looked it up and their is nothing wrong whatsoever in that department. So your statement is false.
So you’re saying then that if a company trying to help children would just need to be silent and not advertise? How are people meant to know about the amazing work these people spend their entire lives on meant to reach out to families and help them, I really am baffled and now I get why you ladies will not stop, I mean if I was a fiend of your therapist I would want to know why she seeks this as time well spent when she should be focusing on her therapist work. This has impacted my life massively, again I AM HAPPY WITH MY CHOICE. Bye bye

JungleMum40 · 15/06/2021 14:07

Friend there

JungleMum40 · 15/06/2021 14:18

Just to quickly add- That as I studied biological science at university which I may add if you need to see my certificate then I will more than happily share. As science is rapidly changing all of the time that actually comes under ‘Clinical neuropsychology’ and that is the sub-specialty of clinical psychology that specializes in the assessment and treatment of patients with brain injury or disease. Some of their therapies may include cognitive rehabilitation, behavior management, psychotherapy or teaching coping strategies. So in fact your statement is false. It is a qualified qualification. So again I am leaving it with that.

DoubleTweenQueen · 15/06/2021 14:29

@JungleMum40 Would you like to see my certificates and my professional CV? How about peer-reviewed scientific publications and international patents record?
