They didn't have one back then, we made do without (they do haven one now).

Mini and VW Beetle. Later swapped the Mini for turd brown Allegro that broke down all the time.

My Mum always had Fiat Pandas and my Dad had Jags

They didn’t. I grew up on a council estate & we couldn’t afford a car. We didn’t have a phone either, for the same reason. And this was the 1980s, not the 1950s.

Commer campervan from when I was 5 to 14, then a Volvo 340

Rolls - Royce. I came from a working class background though.

I remember my mums Yugo in the 90’s. It was her first car and all she could afford.

A succession of total bangers on their last legs including minis, a Ford Cortina and a Simca of all things. Then a new VW Polo when mum got a job.

Only my dad drove, and didn’t get a car until I was 11
first was a dark brown Austin Montego then a cortina.

My dad had a jag before I was born- afterwards Austin Princess, Vauxhall Carlton , VW Golf then an Audi

ford capri after Ford fucking capri 😫 they had at least six in total and I’m not sure if that’s because they kept breaking more than their love for them but I think all cars broke back then.
