Tent shagging etiquette

Erm, yes. 2 weeks coming up in a tent. DCs in pup tent. Family in tents nearby. Does this mean 2 weeks of celibacy? Even if super quiet, the possibility that my mother in law might hear or even just suspect fills me with horror. What is the etiquette?

Oh no, the thought of MIL even thinking about it makes me cringe. Now I won't be able to let anyone take the kids to the playground in case they assume!

I couldnt do it. I cant do silent sex. I try very hard to be as quiet as I can but silent just isnt happening. Luckily for everyone in my vicinity i am longterm single nor do I camp.

DH not great at silence either. I have total control over noise (paranoid re neighbours).

Just channel your inner teenager and relive the heady days of shagging without your parents finding out.

If you're going for two weeks it will piss it down at some point. Wait till then as the noise in a tent from the rain will drown anything else out.

Doggity - pup tents are little tents (single tents basically) you offload the kids into when you sleep in the bigger one.

Or in our case, a tiny double so we can give each child an end of the big bedroom room tent and keep them apart!
