here's the logo

you tube clip here

sma site

way to get round the new advertising rules, which forbid them from saying "close to breastmilk" &c
anyone like to complain? I would like them, very much, to have to change their logo and slogan again. especially as they have clearly spent quite a bit of wonga on it.

aargh too late.

harpsichordcarrier · 18/04/2007 23:12

I linked your website to my mate, who's a GP and doing BLW at my suggestion who is panicking a bit about it and she was extremely complementary and made the porridge pancakes immediately

I'll be going on your blog looking for ideas like porridge pancakes now because DS has decided he wants to feed himself and that's that.

AitchTwoOh · 18/04/2007 23:15

hub2dee · 19/04/2007 09:43

dd didn't want her milk last night. Recycled nicely into two porridge pancakes. I chcuked in a few raisins. Nuked them in the mic. Left them on the backstep. Went to bed. Forgot they were on the backstep. Came down nekkid. Rescued them, whilst avoiding gaze of neighbours. Went back to bed. She's had one for breakfast and loved it.

byeee

chocolatechipmonkey · 19/04/2007 10:16

Why did you leave them on the backstep anyway?

AitchTwoOh · 19/04/2007 11:21

hub, have you been searching for your name... [looooooo-zzurrrr]

custy · 19/04/2007 11:22

i thnk thelogo takes the piss - its clearly an octopus shitting.

someone ought to call the RSPCA - can animals have no decency? well?

backstep = cools down so I don't introduce excess heat into the fridge (that gives you extra condensate which pools in the bottom (at least it does in mine) and then dw points to sloshing vegetable container and then I have to bale like mad

moi, search my name ? mais non Mlle Aitch.

AitchTwoOh · 19/04/2007 11:44

aaah, i see, you've got googlesearch on red alert for mention of porridge pancakes. i stand corected.

AitchTwoOh · 19/04/2007 11:44

gawd, corected? and i didn't put a ? in previously... what is this place coming to?

yellowrose · 19/04/2007 14:16

according to wiki: "young larval octopuses spend a period of time drifting in clouds of plankton, where they feed on copepods, larval crabs and larval starfish" - perhaps sma should consider that when designing their next logo

Cazee · 19/04/2007 17:41

Can someone please clarify this for me, as I am spoiling for a fight with Tesco. Is it illegal to promote follow on milk? Tesco sent me a 200 extra points voucher today for follow on milk, and if it is not legal I will complain. Thanks

hunkermunker · 19/04/2007 17:48

No, it's not illegal to promote follow-on. I think it should be, but it's a loophole as the law stands atm.

Cazee · 19/04/2007 17:51

hunkermunker, thanks

yellowrose · 19/04/2007 18:28

cazee - look at Baby Milk Action website, it explains the law in detail

Cazee · 20/04/2007 11:26

Got my letter from the ASA today, and they say they can't deal with issues about logos, only adverts. They have no authority over own websites either.
