Hi braingoneawol Thanx for answering me. He goes to sleep ok at 7ish after a bottle, bath and book. Then gets into a lighter sleep about 9ish and when you put his dummy back in he goes back a sleep and this happens all night until 4am ish he's up and wants to get up.
It can happen once or twice but lately it's been about 5/6 times. I have just gone back to work but he started doing this before this and he got a cold at the same time.

Anyone had this problem?

Smallgreenone · 11/03/2013 20:38

Hi all, we have snow here too, bloody freezing. Baby small was good last night so hoping for another good night. Took him into dh's office today and he charmed the pants off everyone Grin dh has his own business and only 5 employees so not that many to charm but still!
Enjoy your bubbles susie. Don't know about anyone else but I seem incapable of drinking more than one glass of wine these days before passing out! I've never been a big drinker but since being pregnant my body just can't seem to cope.

MrsNPattz · 11/03/2013 20:53

Brain thank you so much SmileThanks

Susie I can totally understand the being anxious about leaving him - I already feel like that and I don't go back until September Blush we are all here for support! Keep talking.

Little man is fast asleep and I won't be far behind him! Just bought Reading Festival tickets - I'm a huge Eminem fan so cannot wait!!

ChilliBanana · 11/03/2013 21:08

Hi all, surfacing briefly from the sleep deprived fugue that is my life since going back to work last week Grin Baby chilli has gone from a lovely week of four hourly feeds at night straight back into two/one/half hourly feeds. I think it's comfort as he's gone from being with me 24 hours a day to being with other people for 10 hours at a time. I was also having a major panic about all this but while I'm certainly not saying it's a walk in the park, it's not as bad as I thought. Surprisingly, I cope at work far better than I cope at home. (poor DH)
goat and marbles I think I'm the opposite way round to you as I get home around 5.30 but have to get myself and Baby chilli up, dressed, washed, fed and out the door by 7am, which has been a rude shock, but we're managing just so far.
Sorry not to do a better name check, I have been keeping up with the thread while expressing at lunchtime (waves to funch) (although the room I was in today was so cold it is a wonder it didn't come out in ice cubes Smile ) Welcome to newcomers, congrats to people now thinner, and sleepy dust to all non sleepers.
It is now past my bedtime so I will be hitting the pillows after a non dairy, non soy Mexican hot chocolate (oh how I miss chocolate!!)

ChilliBanana · 11/03/2013 21:10

Oh and for those anxious about leaving their little ones - I hate leaving baby chilli but it's so lovely to come home to him all excited and squealy to see me (followed swiftly by crying for a feed...) so it kind of balances out.

EeyoresGloomyPlace · 11/03/2013 22:07

Crickey so much to catch up on!

Welcome jayne and mama

susie enjoy your fizz and Grin at your unfortunately conservatory episode, glad you got released before the heating went off!

mrsn another qualified accountant here, if you can take the risk of getting advice from someone as sleep deprived as I currently am then I'm also happy to help in any way I can.

Well done to everyone losing weight, you're all doing so well! I've been rubbish the last week or so since babylump started this latest phase of 2 hourly wakings but hoping to get back on track soon, maybe once its warmed up as the weather isn't really making me fancy a salad at the moment.

Just about to transfer after first waking, she's suddenly started waking at this time every night which is random and really annoying.

to everyone, i have mini choc brownie bites for the non slimmers and raspberry sorbet for those with better willpower than me :)

Night night xx

larlemucker · 11/03/2013 23:35

Evening!
Bed time in the larle household! Well it would be if baby larle had successfully transferred (however DH is snoring next to me so it's bed time for someone!)
heff as I start WW tomorrow I'll have some choc brownie bites please!!

Funny MrsN but I was surprised when I read you are an eminem fan, silly but just not how I imagined you!!

Hope you've enjoyed the fizz susie sorry but I had to laugh a little at you being locked out but only after I read that you got let back in and your neighbours had come to the rescue, what lovely neighbours.

I'm not back to work till sep and already dreading it, wish I could afford to be a SAHM!

Fingers crossed for a goods nights sleep tonight,

Sweet dreams
Larle x

Smallgreenone · 12/03/2013 00:45

Not sure what's up with baby small, he doesn't normally wake at this hour but has been really screaming. No shushing works and pupd resulted in a super angry little man so I am now sat with him asleep on my shoulder. Oh dear! No idea how I will get him back iris cot. May have to wait until feed time and then try so that's an hour in this chair!
I'm back in sep too and dreading it. My only way out is to have another so childcare becomes too expensive but I ant face another at the moment!
Spreading sleepy dust

mama04 · 12/03/2013 01:01

This thread makes me giggle Grin I actually just chortled out loud and startled the little bundle snoring on my shoulder, then I rolled Dh off and got back to reading Mn Wink
Both babies have been up on the hour so it's gonna be a long one Blush x

mama04 · 12/03/2013 01:14

Brain I know this might sound a bit strange but when any of mine have had the little bleedy bits on their bums my old granny (96) has always slapped egg whites on it! Blush Has worked on all of them so far! It seems to seal the skin and really let it heal, let me know if u try it! Grin X

And how jealous am I about bubbly and a night off! Wine Have some Thanks and a wonderful evening x

Sweet dreams mummies x

Babybeesmama · 12/03/2013 01:29

Welcome mama Grin!

Well, I'm being strong so far. He's woken at his usual now regular time of 1am!! So thought I'd try a bottle as co sleeping normally only thing that works & he's necking entire thing (only 2 hours since last feed)!!!

So, who knows whether it will make a difference...

He just spluttered on his bottle & my iPhone is now covered in dots of milk! Confused X

Babybeesmama · 12/03/2013 01:37

Small - hope he settles for you soon! Maybe sneak some calpol in him before feed? Probably teeth.

Mrsn & anyone else with teething babies forgot to say I got some bickie pegs the other day, had to order from amazon but they were great for DD x

MrsNPattz · 12/03/2013 02:29

First feed here, he woke up in pain, I think, poor little man Sad

Lol Larle, I don't think I'm your typical Eminem fan but I have loved him since I was 14. However, we aren't going to Reading now Hmm I stupidly dived in head first without realising how far Reading is from Chester. So now have to sell the tickets. If I get them sold we may go to Leeds festival instead.

Thank you Heff, sorry you are still having rubbish nights!

BrainGoneAwol · 12/03/2013 02:50

Third feed here. I'm trying to reduce babybrain's night feeds by only offering when he asks insistently, but he's been so upset with his teeth that some sucking is the only thing that settles him Sad

amey my phone is a horrible smeary mess these days from sticky little fingers or spraying milk - an entertainment of babybrain's is to start my let down and then pull off and grin while I soak everything in a 2 foot radius little monster cheeky angel.

mama I read that somewhere and thought it a bit random. Will try it for educational purposes if sudocrem hasn't worked.

jayne hopefully it's just a phase...

Smallgreenone · 12/03/2013 02:58

He settled! I decided in the end that I wasn't going to sit there for an hour so put him down and left. He cried for 6 mins. Then woke 15 mins ago so I went in with a bottle but it must have been a sleep cry as he was still asleep. Confused. Have sort of dream fed him now and put heating on as egg was blue and hopefully that's us until morning now. He doesn't ever cry for long and he was so hysterical when I was there patting that I think it's better if I do actually leave him but I always feel so cruel doing it.
Stay strong amey!
brain has baby brain got a little anal fissure? Baby small had one and it just healed itself. I thought it would be really painful but it never seemed to bother him.
Night all.

BrainGoneAwol · 12/03/2013 03:20

Fail. Trying to get babybrain more deeply asleep this time.

small he's got a couple of places where there are little spots of blood oozing through that sounds worse than it is! He suddenly got bad nappy rash which I think is teething related Sad

Pondering trf attempt. Hmm

larlemucker · 12/03/2013 03:23

Well we're up again after transfer fail, I have a banging headache and my neck is still killing me from the way i slept the other night Hmm

I have the vicar coming round this eve to discuss baby larles christening and then my first WW meeting so could really do with some sleep. My house could also do with a clean!! Maybe I should do it now as I'm wide awake!!

MissingMyMarbles · 12/03/2013 04:05

Zzzzz

larlemucker · 12/03/2013 04:12

I've had 2 and a half hours sleep tonight, urgh.
Baby larle has just done massive poonami, who poos at this time in the morning?!!!

Susieloo · 12/03/2013 04:51

Welcome mama Smile

We are up for second feed of the night and could do with another two hours ideally.

EeyoresGloomyPlace · 12/03/2013 05:12

Without wanting to jinx it things have finally started to improve tonight, feeds at 10pm, 1am and now so at least in between I've had some better chunks of sleep at last :)

Oh mrsn such a shame about Reading, hope you can sell the tickets. I'd love to go, its only 30 minutes from me too, but its not going to happen this year at least :(

I made the mistake of reading the thread about old tv adverts, now I can't stop singing the Um Bongo song Confused

BrainGoneAwol · 12/03/2013 05:26

Up again. Very sleepy. Think I was mid-cycle. Might post again if eyes stay open long enough

larlemucker · 12/03/2013 06:02

Been asleep for 2mins, what's going on! Last week he was sleeping through? Is there a growth spurt at 10 weeks?

Babybeesmama · 12/03/2013 07:09

Well DH and me decided that after 4am I would co sleep if he woke as we were both knackered, will push that forward each night so 5am tonight! He did 7-11 in cot then 11-1 then 1-4 from 4-7 with me. Small - did baby small gradually wake less the more you kept him in cot? I still feel knackered as took till 2 I think to settle him after 1am feed. Feel more positive tho! Grin X

MrsNPattz · 12/03/2013 07:12

Second feed here, and up time as my alarm is set for 8 anyway for WW.

Amey what are Bickie pegs?

Sounds like there were some rubbish nights! Hope you can all nap today.

Good luck with your first WW meeting Larle!
