I'm hoping this is babythorne's "bedtime" feed as I need to clear up after supper and make ds's packed lunch for tomorrow.
Feeling both fat (weighed myself today Shock ) and smug (ate healthily today).
Have a good night all.

Wooohooo I'm finally feeling better :) Still feel a little bit sicky after eating but I can keep food down :)

DS is fast asleep in his crib after feeding for over an hour! I'm hoping for a good night's sleep tonight as we didn't have a great night last night.

Thanks guys!

We had such a lovely afternoon with my friend today. She is an older lady, we met on the bus going to work a couple of years ago and I really enjoy her company. Anyway, we had a lovely lunch at F&B'S and then had a walk along the sea front. She took me to this little housing bit near the harbour called Footdee (the Aberdonians pronounce it Fittie!) and it was like stepping into another world, or a different country. The houses were quaint and had little unattached gardens. Because they get tourists in the summer they all have little ornaments/signs etc and the place has so much atmosphere and character. I felt like a tourist on holiday! Then as we were walking along the houses at the front we saw dolphins, at least 5 Smile I felt so calm and happy, it was just what I needed after yesterday.
Shattered now though lol just feeding little man who is sleeping at the same time, and I will be joining him once he goes down.

Glad you are feeling better Abi!

Amey well done on the couch to 5k! My friend today asked me if I wanted to try the 'wonder woman workout' on a Saturday - a mixture of yoga and Pilates. I'm intrigued!

mrsn that sounds wonderful! Well done on shedding a quarter of a stone in a week...I am definitely revving up towards sorting out my eating habits when term starts next Monday.

Need advice - babyfunch would I suspect happily sleep through her 10:30 dream feed. But obviously we would rather drop the 2:30 feed. But we have been reducing this and getting early wakings. Has anyone else had to make a similar decision with a 6mo? Would we be better just dropping the 10:30 feed so we can go to fed early or is that daft??

Emilythornesbff · 09/04/2013 22:11

Sorry funchI think it's all a bit unpredictable. Also I'm no use as have never given a dream feed. (might well be missing a trick here).

Babythorne feeding again. Is that bedtime or 1st night feed? No matter.
Feeling shredded as ds has only just gone to sleep - monkey!

Still, small victories: today I ate no biscuits, cake bread or other rubbish. Hurrah!

Thats what we're trying at the moment funch did it last night and DS needed a feed at midnight then another at 4.30 but he still thinks he's a newborn so we're probably not the best to look at!

he is stirring now zoom who knows?...

Aaaaaaaaaargh Angry
DD has been awake and feeding pretty much non stop since midday and there's no end in sight. She simply will not go to sleep after each feed, except a very short spell around 8 when I got to throw a bit of dinner down me.
To add insult to injury, DH starts clearing up the kitchen in an 'angry' way and when I ask him what's wrong, with a screaming child in my arms, he tells me the house is a mess and couldn't I clear up a bit. If I wasn't holding said child, I would have thrown something at him. I briefly explained that I hadn't had the chance today due to baby klingon. He picks his moments.
DD feeding now (again) and simply must go to sleep soon or she's going to explode. 6 week growth spurt + colic = despair Sad

Transfer fail, feeling pretty hacked off right now. It's got to be teeth, that's the only thing keeping me going - it can't just be him getting worse!!

Sounds like you had a lovely day MrsN

I've been to visit a friend today on bolton le sands, on way home I hear on the radio that a woman and child have been stabbed in a house down the road from her this morning Shock
On a lighter note baby larle loved playing having a kick on the floor with his BFF. Even got a pic of them holding hands, so cute!!

any I think your DH is BU but I bet tomorrow he'll be ok. My DH also comes home some nights and I can see him looking round the room but we can't do everything and LO comes first. It probably doesn't help that he is tired and has been at work, but they soon learn to either put up and shut up or do it themselves!! Don't feel bad, you're doing the right thing by feeding your LO.

Hoping for a good transfer in a min. Weigh in tomorrow but not been good, not going to beat or equal your amazing loss MrsN!!

Here we are again, I don't understand why we are having 3 hourly wakings Confused

Larle gosh how scary! Good luck for weigh in, how is your friend getting on now?

And we're up again. Massive screaming fit during nappy change, sounded like he was being tortured!

MrsN hopefully she has lost this week as she's done lots of walking. She had a gastric bypass a few tears ago so not sure if that's affecting her weight loss. She's half the size she used to be so has done really well.
We had the WW beef stroganoff tonight out of one if the cook books, it was really nice. Quite impressed by the recipes so far.

Baby larle v hungry bless him. New pump arrived today, bought an amida lactiline. Need to boil it tomorrow before I can give it a go but fingers crossed I get more milk than with my avent manual!

Baby larle finished feeding, going to attempt transfer in a minute. Wish me luck!!!!

Sleepy sleepy..... And feel rubbish. Had a bit more wine than I intended last night - oops. Feel crap now!

Funch, no advice I'm afraid but we are still doing 11pm feed then he always wakes 3/4 and one night will have full bottle other nights not bothered! You could try dropping df and just see how long she goes? That's what we did with DD, never did df, DS always wakes for that feed so impossible to dream feed for us! X

Morning ladies, mind if I join you? I've been having trouble not nodding off over the top of DD during night feeds. And there seem to be a lot of night feeds! (DD = 7 weeks old)

Hope everyone's well and maybe even asleep for a change. I'm off to try a transfer now...

Grr at your DH, anypants...tell him what's what!

Terrible night here at my parents' house - babyfunch up crying many many times. Not quite sure why - blocked nose, teeth and nappy all possible issues! I did the two feeds and DH the rest because he is a hero. It is our third wedding anniversary today! Smile. Off out for dinner tonight after a family day out in the Dales if we can stay awake long enough to get to the restaurant and back

Morning giraffe
I have the same trouble (not falling asleep during a feed) it's so frustrating and gets confusing with when she last fed.

Report
MrsNPattz · 10/04/2013 07:42

Morning feed here, I'm not even going to suggest that we might get more sleep as I can't cope with the disappointment ~dramatic emoticon~

It has to be teething surely? He's waking more, and when I put him back down he groans and moans as if something is bothering him - sometimes he wakes up sometimes he doesn't. This will pass right??

Happy anniversary Funch!

Good luck to your friend too then Larle!

Welcome Giraffe!
