Goat :( it might be worth trying Aveeno, you can buy it, but if you push them they will do it on prescription. We recommended it to a friend whose baby has eczema that was raw and cracking over their whole body recently. Saw her the other day and it has improved a lot. I guess it will be a case of trial and error with the emollients to find one that works for you.
My DH works too and walks around 30 miles a day for his job, so needs his sleep. I breastfeed so not much point in him being up. I did make him go to dd1 when she was screaming because of a nightmare at 4am this morning, but only because I was already feeding Stitch.
:( Brain, both of my two teethed their first teeth back to back, but get him checked for ears, poor mite.
Jemima once the pattern has settled you can put them in their cot, but using the moses basket at first is a good idea as you can bring put it wherever you are.
Sorry to hear of bad night funch
Larle have you got a sling? I have slept sitting up with Stitch in the sling before when desperate for sleep.
My MIL sadly passed away when I was 3 months pregnant with Stitch. I would have valued her input as a mother of 5 and grandmother of 14, she was brilliant at dd1's birth (my mum couldn't get there in time).
It is my own mother I have to keep a check on. When I was still in hospital after having Stitch she said she was taking dd1 to a local park and would bring her back for lunch. DH had lunch all ready, she didn't turn up until 3pm with a hungry child and didn't answer her phone or contact us, we were worried. Turns out she had gone somewhere completely different in her car and got stuck in traffic. Words were had.
