Hi all,
First feed of the night for me. Having lots of sicky feeds again, threw up pretty much a whole bottle on daddy before bed and just threw up most of my milk I think- I feel like I constantly smell of baby sick atm!

stitch and chilli thanks for the advice! I will most likely be waiting until my 6 week check, but as you also said don't really have time for it all now anyway!

funch sorry to hear about the accident, hope all is ok. It's so scary being out on the roads now we have a baby in the car, I said the other day I want to paint my car bright yellow and plaster baby on board all over it, there are soo many idiots on the road, had a near miss ourselves yesterday. Not looking forward to driving again.

Just wondered how old some of your LO's are, DD is now 3 weeks.

Off to try and transfer now!

larlemucker · 14/02/2013 05:24

First feed here, can't believe he has gone so long!!
He had lots of good naps yesterday so maybe the books are right and they sleep better at night if they have better sleep!
funch yes I am a secondary science teacher and feeling back in arse cheek!! Not looking forward to going back to work, there have been massive changes in timetable while I've been on leave however our nasty year 11 kids will have gone, thank god!!
goat and stitch sorry to hear your LOs are not well and hope they get better soon.
We don't really do valentines day, Dh and I started going out just before I went to uni and I dumped him the day after valentines as he never sent me a card! (And I made all the effort to call/visit etc) I got a card a few days later, he had got his friend to write it and it said "your the DBs" (dogs bollocks) how romantic!!!! All worked out in the end though!!!

Seems quiet on here so hope that means people are sleeping

larlemucker · 14/02/2013 05:27

jemima baby larle is 7 weeks old today!

GoatBongosAnonymous · 14/02/2013 06:19

jemima Kid is an elderly 7 months next Monday!

Susieloo · 14/02/2013 06:33

1st feed at 05.40........ That's all I'm saying, not mentioning any phrases or key words for fear of jinxing the situation.......

Babyloo is exactly the same goat, gets really overwhelmed by lots of people and noise etc and I think it's because I haven't really done a great deal with him, no baby groups although I thought I would, he mainly sees family. Taking him to water babies tomorrow.

He is 7 months old now.

Brew to everyone and have a good day

Susieloo · 14/02/2013 06:52

mrsn and I'm sure someone else I'd doing water babies - what time do you arrive for your class i.e how long does it take to get ready, I'm thinking 20 minutes? And how do you get in the pool with your baby? We are in a hydrotherapy pool, do you leave them on the side while you get in?

MrsNPattz · 14/02/2013 07:10

Another brilliant night here - down at half 9 and up at 6:45. Like Susie though. I'm not saying anything to jinx it!! Sounds like there have been some other good nights too Grin

I am getting my wisdom tooth out at the hospital today, I'm scared Sad

Pink yea it's my company's policy - I got full pay for 6 months! Glad you got home safe and sound eventually - was that due to the snow?

Jemima my little man is 5 months.

MrsNPattz · 14/02/2013 07:12

Susie my class was at 2 so I left the house at 1:15, got there about 1:30. There was a lady there to greet us, and she said she would take us through to the changing rooms at 1:45. Yes you put them on the side - they show you first. Enjoy Smile

funchum8am · 14/02/2013 07:16

jemima babyfunch is 19 weeks today.

Less good night here, bfed at 1am and easy transfer but repeatedly crying from 2 for short bursts so I tried a bottle and she wolfed the lot! DH is on night duty soon so it will be all bottles at night anyway but feeling a bit Sad. that I have let my supply dwindle. Skipped 4:30 feed though which was good so just one visit to switch Ewan on around 5 and then up now...DM taking her so more sleep me!

funchum8am · 14/02/2013 07:18

mrsn good luck for the tooth!
susie hope you love water babies Smile

MissingMyMarbles · 14/02/2013 07:22

It lasted 10 minutes! Have been co-sleeping since, but only fed once since then, and up for day 6.40Confused Can't be bothered to think about persevering with improving our nightsSad so sleepy...

Susieloo · 14/02/2013 16:37

I am going to throttle dp - he's off work with a poorly tummy and babyloo and I have been to my mum and dads all day and I've just come home to a messy house and no valentines card because the corner shop ran out and he didn't want to walk anywhere else-the card I gave him this morning is still lying on the bed so I'm going to lob it in the recycling because he is obviously not bothered by it-knobhead Angry

larlemucker · 14/02/2013 16:51

Which is why we don't do valentines suzie, sorry to hear dp is being a pain in the bum. Has the corner shop still got chocolates in cos I'd be down there stocking up!
Good night a day had here and just managed to express 3oz, I know that might not sound like much but for me it's loads!!! Any tips to increase the amount I am expressing?
Hoping for a good night tonight so I don't fall asleep at the hair dressers tomorrow!!
Spreading the sleepy dust

larlemucker · 14/02/2013 16:52

Oh mrsn hope tooth removal went well

MrsNPattz · 14/02/2013 17:37

Well tooth is gone and it wasn't so bad. I went light headed and clammy when they were injecting the anaesthetic (4 or 5 needles Blush) but they were so good, and the actual tooth removal was over in no time! I have been awfully sleepy this afternoon, the anaesthetic I think, but luckily hubby is off so I had a snooze on the sofa. Sore too but paracetamol sorts that out. So glad it's over!

Susie sorry about your DH! You look so pretty in your FB pictures Smile

TheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 14/02/2013 17:50

larle babylump is just over 4 months, I've lost track of weeks but I think she's only a couple of days older than baby funch so I guess that makes her 19 weeks too!

Hooray for good nights susie and mrsn Grin long may they continue.

susie how did water babies go? Hope you both enjoyed yourselves. Tomorrow is dd1s return to swimming lessons since I had to stop taking her when babylump was born. Now baby is old enough to go in the gym crèche we can start again so I'm really excited as it will be the first thing I've been able to do just me and dd1 since her sister came along. Hoping babylump is good in the crèche so they let her come back

mrsn was everything ok with your tooth today? I've got dentist tomorrow afternoon as I'm still hurting since my last visit, its a new practice this time and dd1 has her first ever check up too

Get well soon stitch and kid

We've had a very crafty day today, made valentines cards this morning and heart cookies this afternoon. Although the card is really more a sodden lump of red poster paint, glitter and foam hearts, and the cookies are as yet untasted but seeing as dd1 still had red paint on her hands they might not be my most impressive culinary creation... Hmm DH is going to have to pretend they're delicious though when the DDs present them to him

Susieloo · 14/02/2013 17:56

Thank you mrsn, you have just made me smile, I think I look like a heffer in the picture of all four of us but its one of the the only pictures I have of the four of us together and my friend emailed them to me after I saw them on her wall, pictures were taken a couple of years ago for my friends 40th, the four of us have been best friends for about 20 years now.

I'm so sorry I didn't ask about your tooth Blush, glad it went ok and you must feel relieved its over.

I'm sure I've read that fenugreek or fennel is good for increasing milk supply but I could be wrong, I think I also read that supply dwindles as the day goes on but again I'm not sure so not much help really!!

We are on last feed before bed and hoping for a repeat of last night but not optimistic, dp offered to do night feeds but I'm quite tempted to just go to bed, there is a bottle of red wine sloshing around somewhere that I opened for cooking the other day so I might console myself with that, not sure which I fancy yet.

Have good nights everyone.

Susieloo · 14/02/2013 17:58

Hello heff, crafty day sounds fun - water babies is tomorrow-I feel oddly stressed about it all and have already packed half my bag even though the class is not till lunchtime!

ChilliBanana · 14/02/2013 19:34

Poor you susie! I hope your dp made up for his earlier failure this evening.

jemima baby chilli is 5 months old exactly today Smile

larle Well done on the expressing. I found I got more if I expressed in the morning, but I've heard massage and running a hot shower on your books will increase the amount you can express.

mrsn glad the dentist went ok. At the risk of telling you what you already know, make sure you keep on top of the pain and don't let the painkillers wear off.

heff good luck with your impending dentist trip, need to go myself but am bordering on phobic so I'm finding it hard to make an appointment (chicken emoticon)

We are now the proud owner of a tin of soy based formula and a tin of hypoallergenic formula after a semi successful doctors visit. I still don't have a referral to an allergy specialist or paediatrician but I'll go back for that once we've tried the different formula. I'm planning to start solids soon so need a bit more advice on what to introduce and when, but this is a good start, I feel so relieved.

Hi to anyone I've missed - going to attempt transfer then attack the glass of bubbly downstairs that has my name on it.

TheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 14/02/2013 19:35

Cross post mrsn, glad tooth removal went ok.

Just noticed I meant to say jemima instead of larle in my last post, sorry for confusion.

susie I'm terrible at getting days right sorry, hope it is loads of fun tomorrow.

Bedtime feed now, hoping for good transfer so I can get downstairs and get dinner done in time for itv2s Big Reunion

ChilliBanana · 14/02/2013 20:08

Aargh - running hot shower on your boobs, not books!

MrsNPattz · 14/02/2013 20:18

Thanks guys, and thanks Chilli - just topped up now!

You look great Susie. Hope that man of yours makes it up to you! Grin

Heff I have been really enjoying the Big Reunion although I record it and watch it through the week. We are the same age aren't we?

Little man in bed, hubby and I are going to watch Gypsy Weddings from the other night then bed time for me too!

MrsNPattz · 14/02/2013 20:19

Lol Chilli!!

larlemucker · 14/02/2013 21:14

chilli I did wonder how wet books would help to increase my supply!!! I definately find I have more in the morning, also if baby larle hasn't fed for a few hours (this afternoon he was asleep when I expressed)

MrsN love gypsy weddings, so outrageous its fab!!! My guilty pleasures at the moment are sex and the city repeats, come dine with me and four in a bed. Easy watching at stoopid o'clock when feeding! Glad your tooth removal went ok, remembe ryou can take ibuprofen as well as paracetamol (8 para in 24 hours, 3 ibu in 24 hours), sometimes a good idea to take para, leave 2 hours then ibu etc... (can you tell I used to work in a pharmacy!!!)

I've just emailed the lady who runs water babies so hopefully we'll be starting soon, then I might have more nights like last night!

Got pictures of baby larles photoshoot today, he looks so much like his daddy!! There are 204 pics, god knows how we're going to pick the ones we want to print out. Thankfully the photographer is a friend and has done the shoot as a gift so we have all the pictures she took.

Heff is the big reunion good? Wish I had taped it now, hoping it will be on the ITV version of iplayer. Bewitched played at my uni for freshers week (showing my age now) I even remember what I was wearing so I mustn't have had much to drink!!! (the alcohol haze started about a week later!!!)

Sprinkling sleepy dust, now off to wait for our late asda delivery

Pinkponiesrock · 14/02/2013 21:38

Evening all, just about recovered from my trip home yesterday, a lot of gin would have helped but don't think baby pink would be too happy.

Absolutely horrendous night too last night, woke at 3 and that was it for the rest of the night :( :( moved all of our bedroom furniture round today as baby pink is going into her cot tonight, sniff sniff. She likes to land planes and do sign language in her 'sleep' but gets grumpy when her arms hit the side of the basket. Ordered a Ewan today too as a few people have said he is good so fingers crossed he helps baby pink settle during the night or my little darling might find herself outside with some real life Ewans in our pet lamb pen

larle I'm not very good at expressing either also too lazy but the mornings are when I find it easiest.

mrsn hope the tooth doesn't give you too much bother, I've got the dentist next week. I'm going to make sure they look at me very throughly, I want max benefit from my exemption card! I sent you a PM, did you get it?

susie swimming will be great, it does sound like a logistical nightmare but its fine once you are there. The staff at our mum and baby swimming are great and so helpful, I'm sure yours will be too.

Wishing everyone else a good night with lots of zzzzzzz's.
