Welcome home ski and glad to see you are in good spirits! And many many congratulations again! Hope you have had that celebratory bottle of champers already. I rememeber looking in the mirror thinking my tits looking like something off Alien V Predator rather than belong on my chest when my milk came in and then the next day had a serious case of baby blues but thankfully it was short lived.

Looking forward to hearing ALL the details about the delicate sneeze and I hope the little man is being a treasure (ie sleeping 23 out of 24 hrs a day)

Cosmosis · 05/07/2010 17:06

yay!!! welcome back skimum

PerfectDromedary · 05/07/2010 17:07

skiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Welcome home! And congratulations!

FannyPriceless · 05/07/2010 17:22

Woo hoo ski! Brilliant to have you back. the place hassn't been the same without you. Can't wait to hear all the news. And when you feel up to it, shuffle over to the FESH spa to compare rock-melon-tits.

okes It doesn't recline totally flat but I would say as good as. I haven't thought about putting a baby in loose but I imagine a really tiny newborn would be a bit lost in the big seat and may slip under the straps so not be secure. But saying that there is loads of adjustment in the straps, and with a good liner it might be OK. It goes through ordinary doorways no problem, and was fine in the big shops, but it def wouldn't fit in some of the small shops in the village. It is quite wide when folded but doesn't take up much more space than the Quinny in the (admittedly 4x4) boot.

There's a demo video on the website I linked to.

Glad you are finally getting some peace and quiet. when you get a chance please jump on the new FESH thread (link somewhere above) where we can all compare our lovely firm coconuts

Medee · 05/07/2010 17:48

Welcome home, SKi, and congratulations!

Yes, I did get a positive this morning, Okie; not quite ready to graduate over here yet, if that is OK!

ginhag · 05/07/2010 17:50

Just popping in to say welcome home ski. I remember being so glad to be back where there was lovely food and wine familiar surroundings and my own bed.

Well done with feeding and csection, know from experience it presents some challenges.

Yay for HomeSki and family. Glad you are back and hope all is good.

Wonder how Rots is getting on....

And yay for Medee too! MSDP is a winner... who will be next?!

Muser · 05/07/2010 21:07

Wonderful to have you back ski.

skihorse · 05/07/2010 22:03

Oh god = medee won a baybee too! The MSDP is brilliant and you're all going to have so much fun being pregnant together and the race will be on for February as to whom will lay one first!

I've still got to catch up on a load of stuff - but will be putting my delicate sneeze/birth story on the FESH thread (thanks *fanny).

Little Camembert is wonderful, he's so gorgeous and I will download photos tomorrow - I know it sounds pathetic but I'm terrified of downloading them tonight and in my pissed frazzled state accidentally deleting them, I'd never forgive myself. Needless to say, thank god for digital cameras because for my first night when he was on the neo=natal ward I didn't sleep more than 25 minutes at a time because I kept looking at him on the camera.

He is small and the cunt lady in the bed next to me kept commenting on how small he is compared to her big-headed ugly, stupid baybee. I suppose perhaps she didn't know I spoke Dutch. I held my tongue.

Jailbait has shown another side to himself this week and it's filled me with a new love for him. If I'd had to write a list of what I wanted for in a man for an experience like this I could not have asked for more.

I've had 2 ciggies, 2.5 glasses of champagne and I'm loving it! Maternity ward served salamis, rare beef & pate amongst other euro delicacies.

organiccarrotcake · 05/07/2010 23:13

baby boy all fine cant use this phone back tomorrow love carrots pslavender n everything

CurlyCasperBaggedABairn · 05/07/2010 23:21

well done Carrots! X

skihorse · 05/07/2010 23:25

W00t rots! xxxxxxxxxx

donttrythisathome · 05/07/2010 23:26

Ahhh, congratulations rots!!

ski how lovely to be home. I remember being so relieved to be back to a nice comfy bed and my own food. I'd say the Dutch woman was just jealous of your baby, though calling her baby ugly and stupid is a bit harsh. Not his fault he had a rude mama.

Must check out the fesh site.

donttrythisathome · 05/07/2010 23:33

medee won't say congrats til you comfy to be on her. But is great!!
