hello, some good news for a Monday morning. Just back from dating scan - for the stats, my new due date is 4 Feb, making me 11+3 (I think). Baby very wriggly indeed, lots of waving and kicking! Hope everyone else is well : )

Morning all,

Good to hear scans are going well. I was due to have an appointment with doc this morning to refer me to midwives this morning but ms got really bad about 5 mins before I was due to go, so had to cancel. Have since been lying down trying not to feel too sorry for myself. If there was an award on this thread for biggest moaner, I'm sure I'd get it, and feel bad for moaning so mnuch, I just feel so terrible....and it's definately been getting worse in this past week. [sigh]...I'm just attempting to eat a bit of toast and hope I don't throw it back up

Hi all (said in a whisper as am at work)i am feeling very "un pregnant" today thus a bit worried. Havent really had ms so cant tell by that but still have the hunger. I know lots of you have experienced this on here. Not got another scan until next wed(nuchal etc)I have felt some moevements before so am hoping he or she obliges today at some point. Congrats on the scan geeky it great when they move is it not.
Cler i may join s world this week instead of just moaning.Are you allowed extra food?
angels poor you it really must be miserable.Did you ever try ice sucking or fizzy drinks?Hopefully not long till it wears off now.

ledkr - I felt unpregnant all weekend, and then realised that I hadn't felt the bean moving either. Became worried this morning and decided that when I go to the hospital tomorrow for my blood tests I'd go to the EPU and ask for a scan. ..... But now I'm at work and sitting quietly I can feel kicks and flutters - phew. Still don't feel very pregnant though

i dont think we can access scans here like some people on this thread but i may call my mid wife in a bit.Great to be symptom free isnt it but would like some mild reassuring not too inconvenient ones.May lay quietly later that when i feel the flutters.Gosh what a flippin worry eh? Thanks for taking time to reply knitter.

V jealous of the flutter feelers - I thought I could feel things, but at the scan the baby was in a completely different place to where I thought I'd felt movement (yep, it was wind!!!!).

ledkr - My nausea has nearly disappeared in the last week (touch wood it stays that way), except when I get hungry. I'm still completely exhausted though, so I'm trying not to worry too much.

My tummy is starting to pop out a bit (I'm 10+5). I've not put on very much weight yet, so I don't think it's from the vast amount of biscuits and crackers I've been consuming. I'm down to one pair of trousers I can button, the rest are trussed up with an elastic band.

Hi ladies,

I'm a bit up and down at the mo - I think impatient waiting for scan a week on Tues (27th) but also nervous in case it's bad news. Nothing to indicate any probs at the moment though, I just won't sleep easy until I know all is well.

Getting a bit fed up of the nausea but I know it's nowhere near as bad as the poor ladies who have had really serious MS and HG. My heart goes out to you.

I had my booking apt on Friday which was really nice, helped to feel like it's real, but then a v busy weekend meant I kind of forgot about things for a bit.

Also feeling fat and bloated, but weirdly, have not really put on weight, I am just really uncomfortable in my normal jeans etc. so am using the hear bobble trick at the mo.

Roll on the 27th for me!

Good luck everybody with upcoming tests and scans.

Hello all! How is everyone?!

Like Deliaskis I am having pre scan nerves. My scan is next Monday at 9.30 and I have been imagining the worst

ledkr hope you are ok, I have been having some "non" pregnant days too but I have put it down to getting used to my symptons, when I really think about it I'm still bloated, windy, constipated, exhausted, irrational, moody.... etc but its become normal for me!!!! Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. If you can get a private scan they can offer some reassurance if you have a long wait to your 12 week scan?

Happily we have not lost any more of our chickens, they seem to be improving daily and getting back to their normal clucky selves which is a relief!

Thanks everyone. Have felt sick most of the day so slightly reassured now. Gina i have had my dating scan,all well. Off to fmc next wed for ds screening privately cos local hosp is rubbish.This will be mixed feelings as hoping everything is ok and will not need cvs/amnio but at same time looking forward to the long detailed scan too.They will record it for us too so fingers crossed we can then come home and show dd who knows nothing as yet. I cannot tell you how much i am scared and also hopeful we can then relax and book a holiday and enjoy the pregnancy.
Ugh feel really sick now.Its pjs and tv for me tonight.

I was sick for the first time today at 9.3 weeks! Strange to just get it now, was horrible as was sick into my cereal bowl! Gross!

Still got 3 weeks for dating scan, so jealousof ladies who have had it or will do soon! Really can't wait to find out if everything is ok or not. It's horrible isn't it, just not knowing!

Really sorry leelto its so sad when this happens on this thread you feel as if its a friend who has had a loss. am home now sat quietly hoping for some action from my tummy. come on baby! felt very sick earlier but had headache too from pc at work I think

It'll be DC2, I already have a 15 month old DS. I'm 28 (29 in a couple of weeks), and live in Essex.

I've not felt as sick this time round, but I'm so, so tired- I'd forgotten how draining early pregnancy is!

By the way- Smallblackflowers- DS was born while Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky was playing. It took me a while before I could listen to Everything Must Go again...

anathemadevice welcome! It was on my labour ipod too, although I have no idea what was playing when DD finally emerged....wish I did as it would be a great memento. Great music taste by the way

At 10+4 none of my jeans fasten & I've finally relented and gone for the maternity ones - relief! Reassuring to hear of others expanding waists at 10 weeks though this one HAS put on weight as well as the bloat! I'm sure I was 4 months before I started showing last time! Everything just seems much more ready to pop out second time around! Oh I tried the Marmite Angels not convinced yet!! I can see the attraction cos I love savoury but I'm just not getting it yet!! I'm going to try it with butter first next time... I'm currently loving cornflakes just now & anything bread! No wonder I'm bloated!

Sooooo tired last night I went to bed at 8pm after I'd put DD to bed! Tiredness overtaking me again and I'll have to go to bed now. Anyone else experiencing this around 10 weeks? I thought things would be getting easier not harder at this stage.

Need to exercise too Ledkr but feel too crap at the mo so will have to wallow for a little longer.

Ledkr i think your allowed an extra healthy extra on slimming world when pregnant. My tummy is hurting lots today and i really cant wait to see our baby so i can just relax and know its all stretching.

Cler I have had lots of varied tummy pains not had any for few days so hope they gone off now. Hope that reassures you a bit. sometimes crampy like p pains sometimes like muscle pain and sometimes windy
