Greenwich / Blackheath Nov 2010 mums to be

My first child is due in Nov and I live in Greenwich. I would love to get together with some other local mums to be maybe compare bumps, pregnancy and chat over a coffee?

Anyone else locally due this Autumn?

How funny, I think I was in the queue behind you at the Arches this morn as I was taking my little girl to Toddlers World and heard the guy at the desk saying the times had changed! Such a small world!

Can't make it to the cafe tomo as I'll be at work but hope to meet you all soon.

Just wondering where everyone is planning on giving birth?

Or any experiences of QEH or Lewisham? Trying to decide between the two. It is all very confusing. You hear good and bad about both......

I'm 6ft tall and 35 weeks preg. (so I'm huge!) Will have on blue halterneck swimsuit, so you should be able to identify me!

I can do any evening the week of the 9th August (except Thurs)...

londonbump - my workmate had her girl at QEH 18mths ago & didnt like that she had a difficult birth & they were not accommodating about her hubby staying that night, he had to go home :-( I'll be at Lewisham.

I'm free w/c 9th Aug, be lovely to meet some of you.

Ravenna - My costume is actually purple (now I look at it again!) I've only worn it 3 times already and didn't know the colour!

There is another meetup being planned the week of the 9th August... but we don't seem to be narrowing down the day (except to say not Thurs). I'm guessing that Mon, Tues or Wed would be better than Friday.

If no one has any other preferences I'll suggest Monday 9th? A week today...
So who can make it?

I'm at home today. I twisted my right ankle really badly last night and I fell really hard on my knees. I was so upset. I can feel baby kicking but I'm still a bit worried. I'm going to see the midwife at lunch time so hopefully everything is ok. Wish me luck!

SecretArdilla - I'm sure all will be fine with your LO. They are so well padded with all the water etc in there.
My car was written off when I was 18 weeks preg with ds. (not my fault I'll point out!) and even though I had a seatbelt mark on me he was fine!
So try not to worry.

I'm so tired today after a weekend of decorating and a trip the the south bank yesterday... I really must remember that I am 8 months preg and can't do all these things

Is anyone coming to Aqua, at the Arches, tomorrow (Thurs) at 7pm?

SA - I may need something more substantial to eat, at 7pm, than starbucks can offer... last time most had pizza at zero degrees. I'm happy to meet there again or try somewhere new. I don't really eat out much in blackheath, so can't really recommend. Also am rubbish with names, so can't remember what the places I have eaten in are called!!!!

Having something to eat suits me better, i agree that substantial food is what we need. I just was not sure if it was a hot drink meeting or a dinner meeting!!! And the menu at the railway looks good. See you on Monday at the railway.

Hi all! I'm keen for Monday night. SorRy for lack of response, In the lake district at the mo but back Monday. Looking fwd to meeting some new bumps!! Keen to also do aqua etc when I'm back. Don't mind where to eat on mon - will keep an eye on thread to find out!
