the information can only be seen by members, hope this is ok?

"Admins must approve requests for new members to join. Anyone can see the group description, but only members can see the Wall, discussion board and photos."

if I made it secret then no one would be able to find the group to join, unless I invited them.

bouncingblueberries · 30/04/2010 14:24

Wow, lettuce is really bad for heartburn! Just goes to show that healthy eating is so overated

I am not keen on milk but find it does help with heartburn so put in a spoon of choc nesquick in it. Do feel like a kid though....

vix206 · 30/04/2010 15:56

Hi all, sorry I haven't been posting much had a really crappy week. Nothing bad has happened, just with lack of sleep and hormones I have been crabby and teary for much of it. Not even looking forward to the weekend as we have no money and absolutely nothing planned. I'm in the doldrums I suppose and need to kick myself up the bum and get out of them.

Just requested to join the FB group, I spend half my life on there and twitter! x

Alicetheinvisible · 30/04/2010 16:15

vix sorry you have been feeling crap. I have just looked at your swimwear site and i want it all

Joey30 · 30/04/2010 16:17

Hi everyone

I'm so glad everythings ok with you Cherry.
Anyone got any exiting bank holiday plans- I'm working Saturday (boo)!

Loving all the lists- Mines still in my notebook but I'll put it on here soon. Also loving all the little ladies worrying how they can get much bigger (I'm 5"1)!

I have a question- I definately want to BF but am worried in case I have problems. My main worry is that the baby will be dehydrated if it doesnt get enough. Is it a bad idea to have "just in case" formula- will it be too tempting when I'm tired/ fed up?

Alicetheinvisible · 30/04/2010 16:27

joey i was tempted to get some formula in just in case as i had to top DD up with it by about 6weeks, but with supermarkets open 24hours it isn't too big a deal to go out and get it. DD hardly fed for her first week, lost 15% of her weight, and was only just starting to get dehydrated, so they are actually a lot more resiliant than we give them credit for

DH and i are going to the races tomorrow, but it is looking like it will rain

ElusiveMoose · 30/04/2010 17:16

Just requested to join fb group - initials are CT.

Incidentally, on my last antenatal thread we set up a phone buddy system in the last few weeks, so that people could make birth announcements by text, which worked quite well.

CazEM · 30/04/2010 17:26

Oooo quite excited by the FB group! Vix I also spend half my life on there (and here!!) Just requested to join, initials CM.

Cherry - so pleased to hear your ok. Make sure you rest as much as possible now!

Had a lovely day again! The little girl I was telling you about yesterday (being cute with my bump and gross with her bottom...) has made me the proudest teacher in the world today! She took her first independent steps, about 5-6 steps between me and another member of staff! Such a "YES" moment, I was so excited! I don't think she quite understood why I was jumping (yes 6 months pregnant and jumping I was that excited!!) up and down and clapping and generally celebrating! We've worked so hard on her physical skills this year and encouraging her to walk, I'm thrilled she's let go and walked by herself!! Such an achievement for her!

DH has just gone off to the Dr to get his blood results. Hoping for good news, although he is no better and starting to moan about feeling generally unwell with it all now aswell not just aches pains and tinglings... lets see what Dr says tonight, hoping he won't be fobbed off and they'll take this numbness seriously.

Although to make you all laugh DH sat up in his sleep last night (quite scary as he had his eyes open but defo asleep), turned to me (awake cuz I'd just popped to the loo) and put his hand on me and said "You horrible slag" - rolled back over and went back to the snoring!!!!!! I wonder what he was dreaming about! He thought it was hilirious when I told him about it this morning!

Right onto the washing and tidying kitchen I think! At least there is no essay writing this weekend! Hooray! Haha!

LilyPad72 · 30/04/2010 17:35

Cherry great to hear you're OK - and with the added benefit of not having to do any housework!

I've had a nice satisfying day today - went to see the consultant this morning - had been referred to consultant care, because of the fibroids. But he read my surgery notes from last year and has decided I'm low risk and discharged me back to midwife care! Woo hoo!

Then - went into town and BOUGHT MY FIRST STUFF! 2 sleeping bags from mamas & papas in the sale, and 2 little outfits from Mothercare also in the sale. Bonus!

Chulita · 30/04/2010 18:09

I've just requested to join, I'm R.M.

Chulita · 30/04/2010 18:14

CazEm, LOL at your DH! Haha! That's really made me laugh. (being married to a nocturnal chatterer myself I can sympathise)
cherry so glad you're both back and in one piece
DD's still sick, I've spent all day trying to get her temp down - it's a freaking nightmare!
lily hooray for midwife care
