Hooray hooray hooray [gri n]

Our offer was accepted! We have a new house! Can you tell I'm a bit excited . The couple we are buying from have seen a house they like with no chain so we just have to hope their offer is accepted so we can move asap. Oh my god, I hope it doesn't take too long - it would be fantastic if we could move before I go back to work at the end of June. I am already making lists of everything we need, new sofas, new bed, wardrobes..... Oh and we can finally decorate DD's room rather than sticking her in the boring spare room, is it sad I'm excited about that too. Right, I have to go and find a solicitor, back later.

Moosy · 06/04/2010 13:37

Just popping in quickly to say, yay, our house is on t'internet

here

Good luck with your house Rugby, how long till you hear back?

Hope you're feeling better today Gruff.

Rugbylovingmum · 06/04/2010 13:38

Moosy · 06/04/2010 13:44

Oooh, cross posts there, yay for you!! How exciting

Are you excited? I can't tell...

Moosy · 06/04/2010 13:44

Oh poo. Try this instead.

Playingatmotherhood · 06/04/2010 13:45

Afternoon ladies,

A question for anyone who's had a mc, oh and def a TMI alert.

So yesterday I started spotting just a little bit of brown blood mixed in with small amounts of EWCM, not enough to mark pants but some there when I wiped each time I went to the loo. Today there still small amounts of blood when wiping and loads of EWCM. Now my MC started properly 23 days ago and I haven't bled for 16 days. What do you think might be going on?

Do you think it could be a bit of ovulation spotting? Or is it more likely to just be my body playing tricks on me? If it was the blood alone I would say the second one but the shear amount of EWCM today makes me wonder if I am actually oving? I was under the impression that most first cycles post mc were anovulatory so I'm not sure how likely this is. Maybe I should post in mc? Or maybe I should stop over annalysing

Playingatmotherhood · 06/04/2010 13:45

wow major x-post there!

Moosy · 06/04/2010 13:47

Grr. And again....

Playingatmotherhood · 06/04/2010 13:47

Congrats on offer being accepted Rugby.

And exciting news Moosy on putting your house on the market. Links still not working though

Moosy · 06/04/2010 13:48

It worked in preview, why doesn't it work?!

Oh, just copy and paste it, that works!

Rugbylovingmum · 06/04/2010 13:52

Oooo, Moosy the views are fantastic and I love your kitchen. Hope it sells quickly. When will your new place be ready (sorry if you've already said and I've missed it)?

Moosy · 06/04/2010 14:09

Hopefully less than 2 months before it's habitable, although it will be far from finished!

Soooooooooooo excited though!

Playing, I don't know what that could be, I remember getting lots of EWCM just before AF arrived so maybe it's that?

Moosy · 06/04/2010 14:10

And the links work if you take out the rogue that it puts in

tinkhastwoeasterbunnies · 06/04/2010 15:31

ruby - cant offer much advice on dropping bf only bf dd1 for 5 weeks and didnt bf dd2 didnt get on with it in general!!!
hope u sort it out

hi diege -your day sounds good

both girls r ill here!!
dd1s ear is hurting!! she was up lots in night
dd2 has a cold

Playingatmotherhood · 06/04/2010 15:36

Moosy, love the house and its location.

Tink - sorry to hear your girls are poorly

Didn't know if anyone would know the answer but thought it was worth asking the question. It would be nice to think that my cycle was getting back to normally if I am ov'ing but it may just be impossible to tell.

Starshinetiger · 06/04/2010 16:19

Rugby - yay for house! Sounds like it is all coming together - DP's job moving closer, new house, etc. I don't think you're at all sad at planning out decorating DD's room - it's very exciting! I'm already on the look out for what we will do with DD's room in a couple of years when we transform it from a nursery it's currently jungle theme, which we did before DS was born (and we didn't know whether we were expecting a boy or girl).

Moos - yay to house being on market - looks lovely, am sure it will sell easily.

Playing - sorry, can't help here either. Hope someone comes along with some pearls of wisdom.

Tink - sorry both girls are ill, hope they get better soon.

Diege - hope Nanny McPhee was good.

Diege · 06/04/2010 17:27

Hello! Just a quickie as tea doing, but wanted to reassure PLAYING about the post-mb bleeding. I had the same, esp lots of blood-tinged cm, which I presumed was ovulation. This sort of fits in with what Zita West says about fertility after mc, and is a sign of Good Fertility apparently. So don't worry! It took me about 2 cycles to get back to normal (I didn't ttc in that time) and then I got pregnant with ds the following month.
Right, better go, breakfast things still on table . Oh and film was great - v.funny and a bit teary too

tinkhastwoeasterbunnies · 06/04/2010 18:20

yay for your sisters DS being out of hospital that was a short stay compared to lots of others soooo happy for you all
bet you cant wait to see thursday

Rugbylovingmum · 07/04/2010 07:26

OMG I'm shattered . I don't know what was wrong with DD last night but she just cried/screamed all night from 1am until I gave up and got up with her at 5.30am. Of course she is quite happy now we are up grrrr. Just counting down to her first nap so I can go back to bed for an hour.

MMM - hope you get some nice weather today so you can take nephew and niece to the park.

Gruff - soory you are still suffering , hope you feel better today.

Tink - hope your girls are better today. I need some advice from our shopping queen . I want to get DD some of those soft leather shoes - she keeps kicking her socks off when she is in the carrier and it's far too cold for bare feet so I'm hoping the shoes will help. Which website is good?

Diege - if you have time could you post the routine suggested by SWMNBN for 6-7 months. I think DD might still be sleeping too much during the day but not sure how to shift the times around. Thanks!

GiraffeYoga · 07/04/2010 07:41

Morning ladies

Rugby- sorry for the bad night- hope you catch up later at nap time. Congratulations on getting the house offer accepted. Sounds like things are really coming together.

Playing- no more advice about the EWCM- I think it sounds positive thought. You body has had quite huge hormone rollercoaster. Did you intend to TTC immediately?t

Gruff- glad you are ok, was wondering where you were yesterday

MMM- day sounds good

Tink- how are the girls today?

Moosy- very exciting about your house being online! I had look- lovely kitchen - bet it gets snapped up

DD had her 2nd full day in the new room yesteday. She seemed ok although she was apparently kissing one of the boys during the afternoon

Right- better get some work started

Big waves to everyone else

maxxymoosmummy · 07/04/2010 07:59
