I need some help with DS2. For the past week he hasn't been quite himself. He just cries all the time and just wants to sleep and be cuddled. I have no idea what is up with him. I thought he was maybe coming down with a cold but apart from a runny nose he doesn't have any other symptoms. Could it be hayfever?

had a good day yesterday, and cleaning today is on the cards. when do i have rest were i just sit and do nothing haha apart from when im waiting for M to wake. like now.
hes off to his dads soon, so will wait till then to start tidying as before hand wont get much done anyway with M running about.
looks a nice day again today, but ill be stuck in doors.

KAYZ, agree with TINKS, does sound like teething, esp with the crying, poor thing. How are things generally at the moment? MIL from hell any better?

Kayz- sounds the same as teething here too! DD2 is cutting her top front teeth and is just the same!

Diege- yes was my friends over who I've now offered our help to. They are a bit worried that both of them are out of work ATM, he left work to concentrate on his dream job from home, but he's not bringing in anything from it yet... She does voulenteer work but is looking for a job... They wouldn't want to start ttc until one of them were bringing in money so they weren't living off savings with a baby! But I've told them I'm in no rush and if they wanted to take me up on it I'd be willing to wait till their ready.

Evening everyone else. I'm off to bed now after a bad night on an airbed- all fair and well till the previously mended puncture decided to let us down- literally! DH slept no problems but I was awake most of the night! Luckily I can have a rest tomorrow as DH is off so can do the school runs!

Had a nice weekend here- Went out with DH and the SG on saturaday day, then in the evening we had a babysitter whilst me and DH went out!! - the second time since DD was born. Had a lovely evening need to do it more often i think.

Im having a wobble this morning about working full time - really want to spend more time with DD. Seriously considering moving to 4 days a week so I can have an extra day with her, is just going to be very hard to do my job and obviously finally not so good..... I am also going to request working an extra day from home (2 days at home) so I can get up with her and have breakfast with her at least 1 day a week.
Not sure why I am feeling like this now... maybe I just need a coffee.

Suppose you could have had it couriered. Not sure it is that expensive and I suppose you would pass the charges on to the buyer.

Been awol last week as DH was home. Was lovely to have him around, we're both going to miss him this week.

So have I missed anything important?

Don't really have time to catch up as the house is a tip and the washing basket is overflowing as nothing really got done last week. So I really won't be around that much for the next couple of days while I try and get things done in between lots of resting as I am already knackered and have nausea a lot of the time now.

Kayz - GC has also been snotty, for well over a week now. I'm just wondering whether I should take him to the doctors. I know it is probably just teeth but he is ever so snotty and it looks quite green sometimes - he is pretty much himeself though

Morning . Glad you're getting bids TINKS. Re: collection only, that does limit potential buying market,and I think I may have offered a courier service as there are some very competitive ones around. Having said that, it would be a real pain packing up all those bits and pieces in the sets you have for sale!
GIRAFFE, did you get that coffee? I have been there with the moving to 4 days a week, and I have to say the only benefit is having that full day at home. Work-wise, it's pants. Same job fitted into 4 days and 20% less pay...But I don't think I'd change it back to the 5 days, though will probably do so when all back at school if I get the opportunity.
GRUFF, ttc time has come round quickly hasn't it? Tonight is the night for me Day 13, and have had a faint postive on OPK, so will get the troops in place so to speak . If I do get pregnant this month it would be ideal, as I'd be 39 at conception and this would make a difference to the way I was 'treated' by hospital re: risk. I'd just have to make sure I was booked in by May 27th If I'm not successful I'd have next month 'off' and then get back on with the ttc-ing in July. Don't want HG when on hols in Whitby, hence the planning!

Went shopping with DH today, managed to get a shirt and sandals for DS ready for a wedding on 1st June, and get some shoes for DD2 to go with her stunning Sarah louise dress, already had DD1 sorted. Also got myself a new phone. Got an LG cookie in purple, it's amazing and super good looking!

Off to watch the soaps now, DH is back at work tomorrow so should be back as normal!

We had a fantastic day with O yesterday. We did do a BBQ but ate it inside. O was a star and lapped up the attention. I was amazed when my BF and goddaughter from York turned up! They got the train down for the day - best suprise I've had in ages

Giraffe - sorry you're having some wobbles. Don't be afraid to take a bit of time to think it through. FWIW, I'm in total agreement with Diege. I end up doing a more than full time job in 4 days which can be v difficult in many ways. I do really value my time with O though so I wouldn't want to change it.
Night out for you and DH sounds good. I said to DH that we'd have to arrange a meal out for the 2 of us soon so you've reminded me to get something organised!

Ses- Glad the day went well Ses. What a lovely. surprise for your friend coming down! We got a girl from the nursery to babysit. Was great solution since she knows the SG well if there was a problem.

Thanks for suggestion of thinking it through I think that I will. The financial thing is a big issue to get around and my sanity. Even doing 5 days a week I've just spent the entire evening working and have clocked up 15hrs today So I am not sure how it would be managed 4days a week. I dont mind working week nights and mostly do, but I refuse to do anything at the weekeneds now...

especially since I should have been out with my NCT girls tonight....

Morning all. DH just left for work, DD2 fast asleep in her cot and have an hour to myself... Not sure wether to do some housework while I can now or to just sit back and relax... DD2 is non-stop now she's crawling! Can't do a thing!

DH also on a late tonight so we bathed them all first thing as I hate bath time on my own! Might do the housework after I get them into bed, not much to do so ain't too bad!
