Have just read through but 'fraid I can't remember much, am still in mild panic mode...
Re. Manchester date, I do still have to check if he is on call, but can't do it yet, he's just rang to say he's not going to be in for tea time, possibly not even kids bed time, hate this bloody on call business, it's going to be the same all over the BH weekend, and we're moving house next week, I could have really done with him being here. There's not much on the packing side that can be done yet, but I still need to mow the lawns, wash all the windows, put filler into some screw/nail holes, get as much junk out as poss, I can't do it all on my own, especially with the kids here. Grrr!
Star, hope you're feeling better today?
Tink, did you get your things from Next today?
Ses, June will soon come around!
Diege, PO sound's fun! Good luck!!
Kayz, you need to relax with him, deep breaths, don't try to act differently, just be yourself. Sorry about MIL, am sure she's loving it all.
OK, back to the mild panic! George just came downstairs saying 'Mum, there's a bee in my room' (I don't want them being scared of them just because I am so do my very best not to show it when they're about!) so I grab the fly spray and inch up the stairs trying not to be noticable, and hoping it's a fly rather than a bee, get into his bedroom in that state of 'should I just shut the door and ban him from his room? Or should I be brave?' type thing. Ask him where he saw it, he hold's his hand up and he's holding a dead wasp How did he do that without getting stung? So I very calmly tell him to put it down on the floor (they can still sting after they're dead y'know!) and then I had the problem of having to pick it up, got a wad of kitchen roll so I couldn't feel it's mass through it, and ran to the bin faster than I ever have before!
Urrrrghhh, they give me the heeby geebies...
