Alice I did the same - Got the doc to clear me to drive at 3 weeks. I was in London so wasn't really a problem but still missed the freedom, so 3 weeks wasn't bad.

Right got to see the m/w this afternoon, however they are all really confused still

anyone who's on DC2 looking huge already? DP reckons i look 4mths and i'm only 7weeks!

rubena.. i wouldn't worry too much about going to the scan without notes, that's what we ended up doing with DS and they made up for it without the amount of paperwork we came home with! Oh, and our hospital was apparently out of the area too despite being closest one to us Can't say it was easy but then i'm not sure being at a hospital in the area would have been any simpler!

There is lots of birth chat which is making me feel funny downstairs. I just read someone's comment about a fourth degree tear and if I wasn't in an open plan office I'd roll off my chair onto the carpet, curl into the foetal position, shove my thumb in my gob and try and find a happy place! Osterich syndrome anyone?

I have been thinking about my scan and desperately hoping everything will be ok. I can't believe how many people we have lost from this thread and I shall feel incredibly lucky if the scan shows my bean is healthy and growing. 6 months ago I was worried I wouldn't get pregnant, then I worried about drinking on the 2 week wait, now I worry that I am pregnant but might mc. I clearly need to chill the feck out!

I am loving salt and vinegar rice crackers, they are my current passion

I didn't mind my csec in London as I did have other options, but right in the middle of nowhere I think I would prefer to be up and driving again fairly soon if I could. Also I guess this might be my only chance to have a vb, and bizaare as it sounds I think I would quite like to see what it was like ....... I am not so good at recovery after ops and suffered with lots of little niggles after the csec, that being said I have friends who have had ishoos with a vb too so I guess you just can't win!!!!!!

Marmite toast and tea - the miracle cure imo for food. Have appt for the midwife next week and will let you all know how it goes.

bewler, seriously don't worry about that now. i had a tear (and stitches) with DS and barely noticed it either during or after. There's also things you can do to reduce the risk of it even happening (i obviously didn't follow my own advice but the theory's there!)

quite bizarrely, i've gone off chicken completely in the last two days!

rubena I had my scan on Monday, they said to bring notes but like you I've not seen a midwife and have no notes - they weren't bothered, they give you the sheet of paper and just tell you to stick it in with the notes when you get them.

Miamla wrt to being big for dates. This is my 3rd baby and I'm in maternity clothes already!! Not confirmed officially that theres just one but have my fingers firmly crossed. They only saw 1 sac at my 6 week scan so I guess I can breathe easily on that one.
