maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 12:30

hi everyone, been busy on here. been to a group this morning with DS and now going to get lunch, and then DS has his jabs at 2.30 (hope hes ok with them) hes already in a grump today after me having to wake him at 9.55 cuz we slept in and the group starts at 10.
NAT - im sure you will work out what to do sorry i cant be any help, but you will be able to get through it. keep positive

largeginandtonic · 27/01/2010 12:50

You wake a sleeping baby Maxy! You are MAD. You should have stayed in bed.

NJ there is no guarantee you will get the pill version of the abortion you know. My very good friend who just went through it was a surgical only. She knew straight away and had to wait till she was 8 weeks.

Quick in and out of hospital in a day. Well a few hours really. That is what i had done. I was not offered the medical option.

You could prob pay for it but it is £££.

Life is so hard sometimes. I am sorry you are having to think about all this Nat

Hi Tink. Still buying like a crazy lady, you are the shopping queen i think

maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 13:03

ye, i was going to a group so i got myself ready then had to get max ready lol, he always sleeps in, hes a lazy boy.

NatalieJane · 27/01/2010 13:05

Tink, new bed sound's fun

MMM, hope his injections go OK, bless them, TBF though all of mine have been OK with the 12m one (we delay the MMR for a year or so) because it's only the one jab, it's over before they've realised what's going on, think it was DS2 that made a face like he was about to knock the nurse out with his bare hands but no screaming/crying!

Thanks Gin, and Tink, well everyone really. Cheapy confirms it, it's still so so so feint though, I didn't bother checking the sensitivity of them thinking well I'm late so I don't need the ultra early ones, must be a similar strength(can't remember the correct phrase, the measurment of HCG it picks up, memory blank) to the Tesco ones.

How could I have been so damn stupid?

largeginandtonic · 27/01/2010 13:15

Oh NJ. It will be ok. Get your head clear. The sooner yoiu get your head round it and make a decision the better.

NatalieJane · 27/01/2010 13:31

How can I make a decision? There are so many reasons why we shouldn't have this baby, so the obvious answer is have the termination, but one doesn't follow the other like that. I honestly don't know if I could go through with it, I really really don't think I could.

I am going to go and start getting the stuff done for the weekend. Pah, how am I going to face my mum? If it goes anything like the last 3 pregnancies I'll be looking 6 months pregnant by the end of the weekend, after all of my showing off on the phone telling her I'd lost the weight, I'll walk in there bigger than I was last time I saw her. She's going to know straight away.

Thanks again everyone, I will be back later, need to do something, else I might drive myself round the bend.

maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 13:50

hope he is ok, hate sein him upset with things like that. he wasnt so bad with all his others, jus warey with him being older now. but im sure he will be brave just getting him ready to set off now, hes asleep, so hes going to be a grump when i need to wake him up, but it has to be done, its better having them than not.
haha the face pulling sounds funny, how cute.

tinksbabyis1 · 27/01/2010 14:34

i am here nat will check in later good luck with weekend preps

maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 14:53

got a brave lil man. he only winged for a split second. and he was fine

NatalieJane · 27/01/2010 14:57

Thanks Tink

MMM, bless him, I'm sure it bothers us more than them most of the time! - Where is Glask? Not seen her for ages.

Kayzr · 27/01/2010 15:09

Oh Nat, I'm really sorry you got a bfp. You need to have a sit down with DH and talk about everything, tell him why you do and dont want the baby. Then you can ask what he thinks. There is no guarentee that you will be really ill again.

tinksbabyis1 · 27/01/2010 15:23

good call kay

i believe things happen for a reason i am sure you are a great mum you have 3 handsome boys
i can understand why you are considering not keeping the baby after what you went through with mikey with all the trips back and forth to the hospital that must have been so stressful!!! i can't imaine being pregnant again must bring back ll those memories again and remind u of what the last pregnancy is like
like kay says not all of them are the same
not ure about glas

NatalieJane · 27/01/2010 15:57

It's not just the pregnancy, it's the house/bedrooms, the car/seats (we've got a mondeo, we'd need to go back to a 7 seater), It's the hours DH has to work to cover us financially at the moment, the bigger house will cost us more (in rent, council tax, utilities), feeding and clothing an extra person on top of that, he can't do anymore hours without killing himself, the kids would miss out on things because we just wouldn't be able to afford them.

But I really don't think I could go through with a termination, and I most certainly don't want to - who would though hey?

tinksbabyis1 · 27/01/2010 17:13

sounds like you have made your desicion nj - you want to have this baby
it will be a struggle but bring such joy 2!!
we would have the same prob i.e - we would need a bigger house do the boys share?
we have moved downstairs and made the studay our bedroom as the girls have the 2 upstairs bedrooms otherwise they would have had to share.
it will just be hard work but a bundle of joy good luck tonite talking to dh you can talk through everything with him and see what he thinks about it

maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 17:38

ye think we do get more upset and bothered by it than them but it was a doddle. another 4 weeks and he will be having his next lot. and GLASK / CANT has had a poorly ruby since monday, so been drained and tired, and not had chance to do anything really. her DH took the day off work today because she was feeling abit under the weather and not heard from her since. probs catching up on missed sleep i guess.

tinksbabyis1 · 27/01/2010 17:47

mm - glad it went well

poor ruby

NatalieJane · 27/01/2010 18:22

Have just done another test, knew I shouldn't have got 10 of the buggers, decidedly BFN. Am assuming it's just the cheapy tests/later in the day.

Far from making the decision Tink, one minute I'm certain we just can't have another baby, the next I'm feeling sick at the thought of killing it, which all the frills aside is essentially what it boils down to.

Poor Ruby and Glask, doesn't sound like much fun Will you pass on my 'get well soon' thoughts please MMM next time you speak to her?

Kayzr · 27/01/2010 18:27

Just got back from the GP. DS1 has conjunctivitis, he is feeling very very sorry for himself. He also has the bad cold that DS2 has. Why can't they get ill at different times?

Nat, is it possible for you to not think of it as a baby but as a group of cells?

maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 18:36

KAYZ - hope the boys get better soon, no doubt soon enough DS2 will have the conjunctivitus as its very contageous, is it not better getting it all out of the way with them both in a way?
and yes will send the 'get well' message to her.
as far as i know ruby is over the worst,

Kayzr · 27/01/2010 18:38

DS2 has never had conjunctivitis but DS1 gets it quite a bit. I always expect DS2 to get it too but he hasn't as yet. Weird.

maxxymoosmummy · 27/01/2010 19:08

ow strange that DS2 hsnt got it yet then well i hope there both over the colds and everythin soon. DS has had his cold n cough for a while. just spoke to CANT shes feeling a lil better, and ruby is now fine, just cold and cough
