Hello Everyone!

Sorry for long absence, its been a pretty hectic few weeks. Been back at work for 3 wks now and its going well.

Its all much better than I expected and Im really enjoying getting time to myself, though I really miss my days out with SG. Only downside is the permanent exhaustion but thats probably to be expected when working full time, driving 60miles a day and looking after a baby (and husband!)

Ses- great news on the new puppy. Hope the meeting with work went well. Reckon 4 days will be great! We have cleaner who comes sometimes when we are out other times when we are in. I think i'd be here if I had a choice as Im not sure they spend the full 2.5hrs here.

Hi everyone else, sorry for not remembering everyone - its been a long day...

The SG is poorly with a bad cold that is giving her a temperature that keeps coming and going. So we've been running about sorting that out too. Hope she is on the mend soon.

Morning... DC's at school and Dd2 fast asleep!!.... Should be doing housework but thought i'd be naughty and do some MNing first.

Diege- plan to rent in this area for now, but our 5 year plan is to move over to Barnsley/Doncaster way for DH to have a job at head office. selling the house now means we can pay all of the debts and then also be free to move asap when the right job comes up. DH wants to be a product manager with the same company so we're waiting on a vacancy basically. Once we're over that way we plan to rent until we've decided what area is best for us to buy a house in. Then we're not stuck in the first house we see, we can take our time.... Oh and as a secret between you and me i think we'll be going for that magic no.4!! I just dont feel 'complete', i mean i love the DC's more than anything, and if i couldn't have any more i'd not be dissapointed... however, I really feel i want another. It'll be a good few years off, maybe 9/10 till i'm ttc, but i'll still only be 34/35ish... and the other 3 will be failry grown up by then, 14/15, 13/14 & 10/11... so they'll almost be taking care of themselves!!

GBL- work sounds good- i used to enjoy the adult time when i worked part time (well, 1 day a week) between having DS and DD1...

Morning! Excellent news CANT on no.4 . You know, I felt just the same about 3. Thought 3 would be it, but it just felt a bit odd - I love the symmetry of 4 and tbh as I've never really had a time in 8 years where someone hasn't been in a buggy or nappies, one extra really doesn;t feel like that much more work. Bet you won't wait 10 years though . House plans sounds sensible too - fingers crossed a vacancy comes up soon.
Hi GINGER! Your days sound very busy but fulfilling too - I agree about the adult thing - I too am enjoying work, though as you say the downside is a fog-like knackerd-ness. 4 days a week is great for me (though it does spill over to weekends/Friday - the house chores stand still for 4 days, then it's a mad rush of washing etc from thurs-sun! Working from home today, so quite easy to put a wash on etc in between checking e-mails etc!
SES, I must have missed that about the new puppy - sounds fun!
TINKS, have you had the new mini-boden catalogue yet?

Have promised to take dds to the shops after school today to buy dd2 a new outfit for a party on Friday. It was partly a bribe to see if you'd stay in her bed all night (she has regressed...) and touch wood it's worked.

haha thanks im sure he will. me and my mum are taking him to the zoo saturday as his dad let him down. and then havin party on sunday with his friends so wure he will have a great birthday weekend sure i wont now shes blocked.

Diege - great having you back. You've been missed.
We had to have one of our dogs put down a couple of weeks ago and the other got lonely so hence the puppy.
Toilet training is not going great but she's lovely (and v lively!)
Glad to hear J is doing well - any recent piccies?

Ginger - glad it's all going better than expected. I'm starting to get my head around it all. DS has his first settling in session at nursery next Wed (only an hour whilst I fill in loads of paperwork for them!)

Our news of the week is that my younger brother and his GF got engaged on Tues Really pleased for them. She is lovely and v good for him

awww wow on your brothers engagement a big congratulations to him and yes she does seem all abit crazy and wierd :S really dont know what her problem is as she has a baby of her own so must know its exciting when they reach certain milestones or bdays (obv she doesnt care as much tho) well somethings wrong in her head isnt it.

He's 24 ibs now and quite chunky, though still just rolling and showing no attempt to sit up! When is it that you start back at work? Did you negotiate part-time hours? I think last time I was on you were pleased that your boss seemed to be amenable to a shorter week.

Clinic appointment went well, and we're reducing the dose of medicine as of next week. Also popped into the monsoon sale and bought party shoes for dd2 and 3, £6 each reduced from £30 (dd1 is going through a vampire phase and has made do with a black satin hairband).

Hi ladies, just a quickie post from phone. Did not want you to think I had returned then buggered off again! DD has been ill with a virus she has picked up - I am assuming from nursery so we have had conjuctivitis, cold, cough temp of forty and a trip to a and e when she went all scary and unresponsive. It has not been much fun in our house lately! Plus I have had the bug too so have been feeling ill. Will try get on properly when we are back to normal tho from what people keep saying it could be one bug after the other with nursery :0( hope everyone is ok xx
