Diege · 19/01/2010 15:49

Hello! Tiscali have come through good, so I'm back online now, 3 days early
Happy birthday Bracken! It doesn't seem like a year at all!
STT, that sounds like a fun afternoon, inspite of the mud. And you should feel proud of yourself!
KAYZ I have sort of picked up the gist of the job nightmare - what a disappointment for both of you. Is there no chance that things may change again?
Hello to everyone else, and it's great to be back! Any honks I have missed??

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 16:11

good to have u back DIEGE
jus been to asda for last few bits for DSs party came back with everything but (not good) now i have lots of things i didnt even need.

Kayzr · 19/01/2010 16:14

No honks Diege but I met Ciaran!!!!! I went to most haunted live last week and I got to meet him. I was stupidly excited.

I starting tracking my cycle today. Not ttc until august time but I want to know what is happening.

Diege · 19/01/2010 16:37

Wow KAYZ, you finally met him How was the day as a whole?
MMM when is ds's party? Did you get your things for the curry after all?
KAYZ, August will come before you know it - how exciting! You know, I am curiously totally non-broody for the first time in about 8 years . It could well be that 4 is the magic number! In terms of getting out of the door in the morning with everyone ready to be delivered to school/nursery/childminder I don;t know how people with more than 4 do it!
Have the waiting to ttc-ers got a list like in the old days?

Kayzr · 19/01/2010 16:45

It was really good!! I had a brilliant time and I want to go again and again.

I am on a waiting to ttc thread. We all have a good giggle. A few are about to leave to start ttc. But there are few of us that are waiting until July/august so I am not alone.

How is the new house?

Kayzr · 19/01/2010 16:47

Oh Tink Happy Birthday Bracken!!!!!

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 16:47

yes got the things for a curry but DS is very tired so think ill leave it till tomoro or do it later for me and have it for dinner tomoro too with ds just not sure. part is on his actual bday sunday. cant wait

Diege · 19/01/2010 17:04

That sounds a good idea MMM. I often spread meals out over 2 days. I'm sure the party will be a success
New house is great thanks KAYZ, though we have the inevitable 'box problem' (in other words we're still living out of them). Having moved from a house of fitted wardrobe to one that has none, we're having to do thi9ngs as finances allow. So far the dds are sorted with furniture, so just dh and me with a rail and several cardboard boxes! Much better than our old house though, and the garden is fab!
Right, better go and pick ds and dd3 up from nursery.Chicken pie and oven chips for them,at dd2's request. I could murder a pie but am trying very hard to keep on track with my SW diet!

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 17:30

ye might do that. wont get it till bout 8 with DSs dad coming round. but will still be yummy im sure. DS is in bed so dont think he will see his dad tonight.

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 19:44

jus waiting for m curry to finish cooking and my rice 15 mins and should ba able to eat it.
DS seems to have got a cough in the last couple of hours and keeps waking himself up poor boy. hope it doesnt mean i have a bad night ahead.

Diege · 19/01/2010 20:29

Snap here MMM with the cough. Just been up to ds who keeps waking because of it. Really hope it's not a sign of a bad night ahead!
Mmm curry...I have had my tea and I'm starving! Just a weight watchers cake bar and a digesive to look forward to before bed . I really wish I could dunk a packet of instead!

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 20:43

awww DIEGE all these diets. makes me want to start one but know i wont keep to it. haha. dont have the will power. but i do want to loose some weight. just watchin mr bean and laughing my head off love it.

FollowingYonderSTAR · 19/01/2010 20:56

Just poking my head round the Wagon door...
Happy Birthday to Bracken, Tink! How lovely to reminisce over your birth story ...
Kayz - so sorry about DH's job. That is pants.
STT - glad you managed to get out today. Totally agree that it is difficult with 2, especially one who is used to being out and about doing things every day. Farm sounds fab and sounds like you are much more organised than I was when DD was 3 months old. You may have inspired me to do something like that on Thurs or Fri when I'm off work... Problem is, when I'm not at work, I like to let DH have the car for a change and then it's more difficult getting out (or maybe I'm just making excuses?!)
Diege - good to see you back. Yay for Tiscali. Well done you with your diet. I really need to concentrate on healthy eating, but for now I'm concentrating on exercise, as it's under 9 weeks 'til we run the half marathon (I am terrified!!!). Did exercise DVD last night and in gym at lunchtime today - am not sure I will manage to walk tomorrow
Right, on with lunches for tomorrow.
Hope your DSs both sleep despite coughs, Diege and MMM.

GruffaloSoldier · 19/01/2010 20:58

Hello all!

Good to have you back Diege I have lost 1 stone 3 lb as of yesterday so am very pleased still a bit to go though

MMM - I had curry tonight too, Jalfrezi, yum.

Happy Birthday to Bracken, hope she had a lovely day.

Im in the middle of organising GC's first birthday in April, organising a holiday for the week after with 2 other familes and also preparing for a telephone interview thats iin the morning for some volunteer work. I am officially snowed under

Hello Kayz, Star, STT, Tink, Ginger, Ses, Rugby, Cant, anyone Ive missed.

GruffaloSoldier · 19/01/2010 21:00

x posts Star! good on you with the excercise!

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 21:04

i had a tikka masala. was yum to not home cooked like that for a while. normally just do thing i stick in the oven so was nice. and theres some for DSs dinner tomoro off to do the house work now. as not done any today will be back later just need to wash dishes and hoover so not soo much to do.

GruffaloSoldier · 19/01/2010 21:13

MMM - LOL, we usual home cook but got it out a jar tonight, so opposite ! just couldnt be bothered. Did GC his own little curry, he seems to like strong flavours which is good.

Good on you doing the house work - that is what I need to do. Maybe I should take inspiration from you and get off my big bum!

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 22:01

haha ive done the kitchen now need to tidy all toys away. and hoover ( altho hoover doesnt pick up properly ) need to buy a new one after DS bday. theres just too many toys in my living room. and he only plays with a handful haha. may get rid of all his old ones from before xmas and then he can play with his new ones haha.

maxxymoosmummy · 19/01/2010 23:06

all housework done now. not tired so dunno what to do now haha. got a sure start group tomoro morning to take max to then think ive got the parents round for a bit of dinner. not too sure yet though. but if it nice going to take DS out in his bike for lil walk i think hes not been in it for a few weeks with the bad weather.

Rugbylovingmum · 20/01/2010 08:54

Morning all,

for the last couple of nights I have been going to bed at 8 when DD goes and I am finally feeling a little more human . Just a slightly soggy human - DD has started sucking on my face every time I pick her up, strange child, so I am permenantly covered in drool .

STT - day out at farm sounds fab. I'm totally impressed you have the energy for days out with 2 boys.

Diege - good to have you back and I'm glad you are still loving the new house. I hate that 'living out of boxes' feeling but it'll be worth it.

MMM - mmmm, curry sounds lovely. Have fun at your surestart group today.

Gruff - good luck with the phone interview. Where are you off to on holiday? We are hoping to book somewhere for March/April but I'm not sure where to go - think we will look for a self-catering apartment somewhere so if anyone can recommend a good website that would be great.

Star - wow, I didn't realise you were running a half marathon. That's great. Hpe the training is going well (I don't know how you fit it in though )

Tink - happy birthday Bracken!

Kayz - sorry about DH's job, that sucks!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 20/01/2010 09:49

Morning- can't stop as DD is teething and very tired... currently sat in her bouncer making lots of noise's which mean 'mummy come and sort it out for me'...

Diege- HELLO!!!!!!! so glad to have you back!!! Glad the house is good, we're trying to arrange selling and moving- have my eye on a nice new build type house, preferrably detatched, and 3/4 bed... It's getting exciting!! My weight loss has really slowed down now, only loosing 2lb or so a week now... but still at my lowest weight since having DS over 5 years ago now!!

Right- she's really kicking off now but i'll try and get back on later

tinksbabyis1 · 20/01/2010 12:16

Diege · 20/01/2010 21:18

Evening! Had a busy day at work not getting back until late, but thankfully am working at home tomorrow and have ds off too which should be nice. He's a real pleasure at the moment - very cuddly with a wicked sense of humour
Glad you had a good day MMM, you and ds always seem to do nice things
Hi TINKS! Good to hear you hjave been flying the shopping flag in my absence - I will give you a run for your money when I get paid on Monday (HOW long has this last month been!)
Hi CANT! Exciting about possible move for you - are you looking at a house in the same area? Your weight loss sounds brill - wish I could say the same. Think I need to exercise, as am stuck on the same weight despite doing SW at the mo.
RUGBY, can you give me a clue as to who you are?
Right, off to watch end of tv awards thingy then bed. Night all!
