I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

Looking forward to seeing other people on this exciting journey

bouncingblueberries · 31/12/2009 16:53

Thanks Chulita! I know what you mean about taking d to the scan - we had to take ds this morning and I don't know what scared me more - finding out the worst or having to hold it together in front of ds. I'm sure you'll be fine though and only 11 days away - woo hoo!

tiany · 31/12/2009 17:06

hi ladies,
just joining back in, have missed last week or so with Christmas. Sorry to see some of you have had bad news but fingers crossed you will be back on the threads as soon as you are ready.

Wishin you all a wonderful 2010!!

ooohh for a glass of champers tonight!!

bouncingblueberries · 31/12/2009 17:08

Thanks girlsyearsapart and MrsZac too.

Oh poppy I'm so sorry my love but you're right, you WILL be pregnant again soon. At least you know you can fall pregnant, that must bring some comfort. Be kind to yourself sweetheart. Hope 2010 brings you a happy, successful pregnancy.

Crazycatlady · 31/12/2009 17:27

Just popping on to say a quick Happy New Year to all. Once DD is fed and in bed, am spending the evening at home with DH just chatting, eating nice food and making all sorts of wild and ridiculous resolutions for 2010 .

Wishing everyone a healthy and enjoyable pregnancy in 2010, and bouncing bubbas come August.

For those who have miscarried, I really hope the new year brings you better luck and that we'll be seeing birth announcements from everyone before 2010 is up.

Lots of love, crazycatlady xx

BunnyBaby · 31/12/2009 18:51

Happy New Year to all!

Really pleased to hear bouncingblueberries and bigmuther's news. So sorry poppy to hear yours, and I'm sure you'll be posting again soon to let us know you're pregnant again.

We're putting DS1 in bed soon and settling down to a bizarre selection of food selected in Waitrose today. Chicken Korma with Muller Fruit Corners for dessert.

It'll be nice to be at home, I don't think we've been together alone at home since we met 8 years ago. I'm shattered from visiting my family from London to Lancashire over Christmas, so have invited them all down here next year.

Missing stilton, prawns, roquefort, crayfish and sushi, and could murder a Wagamama Chicken Katsu Curry right now!

bouncingblueberries · 31/12/2009 19:40

Thanks a bunch bunnybaby - now I'm craving Wagamama Chicken Katsu Curry!!

loobyt · 31/12/2009 19:43

Thank you for all the lovely birthday messages!

Excellent news blueberries and bigmuther! Poppy, everything crossed for a pregnant 2010 for you.

I've got a bottle of alchol free wine for tonight, yuk!

Oh and very jealous of people with scan dates already!

Happy New Year!

Crazycatlady · 31/12/2009 19:55

Mmm chicken katsu! Oh dear. Am also now craving their Fire Rice and some California Rolls.

Ah well, if I give birth at St Thomas's again I shall be sending DH straight to the Yo Sushi across the road to collect a massive selection of delights. When I had DD, we were in St Thomas's for 9 days in total, and I had Yo Sushi every single day . Was the only thing that got me through!

Crazycatlady · 31/12/2009 19:57

Doh, pregnant brain. Wagamama's is not Yo Sushi . TBH, either would do right now!

bouncingblueberries · 31/12/2009 20:07

Mmmmm - miso soup and spicy salmon and avocado thingymabobs from Itsu.

Or Yo sushi.

Or ANYTHING from Wagamamas!

Oh, what about Thai Green Curry with fluffy white rice ... drool.

Aussieng · 31/12/2009 21:19

Hi everyone. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and best wishes to all for the New Year. Hopefully those of us who have been feeling rough will be better soon and the blooming can begin.

(((hugs))) to Poppy - so sorry to hear your news. Here is to a much happier 2010.

I'm seriously craving pate. Why can't I crave something that I am actually allowed to eat Baby thinks he's funny.

santaschristmascakeywakey · 31/12/2009 22:13

Here's to 2010 for us all. (I would send this at a more appropriate time, but am off to bed soon, I'm shattered!)

loobyt · 01/01/2010 07:56

SO sorry to hear your news Poppy sending you all my positive vibes and hope you are looking after yourself.

Happy New Year to all of you August 2010 ladies - here's hoping that we all get our dreams coming true this year.

I stayed up with DH until 12:20 - and was absolutely wrecked with that. Thankfully with no LOs yet I got to lie in this morning.

Alicehasamincepieintheoven · 01/01/2010 17:20

Happy New Year ladies

DH, DD and i went to a friends house for dinner and got home at 12.40am and i am a bit knackered now.

I am really craving chinese at the moment and pot noodles Dh is cooking beef stir fry with sticky plum sauce for dinner

Starting to feel quite emotional over such silly things now too - fun!

littlemiss72 · 01/01/2010 22:03

HNY all,

HUGS for Poppy sending you positive thoughts for the new year!

I managed to stay awake to 12.30..just lol with a little nap in between. Been ice skating today and managed to stay upright for the whole 30 minutes I stayed on the ice.

I love pate mmmm haven't touched it though, would kill for some warm blue stilton and pear it's my fav a this time of year.

Feel shattered, sleeping on and off quite a bit and my poor little boobies are so sore. I have noticed things are getting tighter, this of course could be down to all the extra food I've consumed over Christmas

Hope your all keeping well, off the jolly juice and have positive thoughts for the year ahead. x
